  1. It's actually for 8 DD 1508's, just looks bigger in pictures. 4.8 cubic ft, tuned to 38hz with 4 4" aeroports.
  2. yep, just like in the picture. Dial should be 3 clicks to right though.
  3. Yeah, the seal has been taken off completely, and replaced with sealer now. I got tired of having it put back in everyday.
  4. searching through my old videos, and found this one. Notice the back seats are folded up still. Enjoy. http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b194/ric...nt=MOV01254.flv
  5. 105 square inches of port actually. I'm waiting on my new batteries to get here, then I'll hook it all up and let you guys know how it sounds, and what it meters at. here's a 3D view, so you can see the internals:
  6. Still needs to be cleaned up a little, it's been gathering dust in the shop for a couple months while I decided whether to run it or not. Bought the woofers a couple days ago, and decided I'm going to give it a run, so I pulled it out and carpeted it. Folded Horn for a pair of little DD 9510's, gonna put them on a pair of Sundowns strapped at 1 ohm:
  7. It's one of TTB's designs actually, I just built it. Not sure exactly how it works, but I'm sure I could figure it out.
  8. it's not a true 1/4 wave length, notice that it has a compression chamber, that changes things a bit.
  9. Thanks for the encouragement guys. I just finished another box, which I'll post pics of once I carpet it. No bended MDF, but I think it'll generate some comments. This box was built for a local shop, to show them what they could get if they hire me on as their box builder,(which they did!!!) the one I'll post pics of later is for my personal ride.
  10. Yeah, it's for a pair of Lanzar Opti 12's for a buddy of mine. It sounded really good also, hit nice and low and was exactly what he was looking for.
  11. it's a solid piece of mdf with relief cuts, not strips glued together. Time consuming and tedious, but once you get it figured out, it's not too bad. it's for a pair of Opti 12's
  12. that's on a 42hz tone, but it's nowhere close to being ready for the 2nd amp. I've got the new box almost built though, and I'm going to try to get it put in tomorrow.
  13. Quick Update: The box sucks......I built it on the recommendation of a former Juggernaut owner against my better judgement. The box is just too large, with too much port area to be able to control the sub. I'm going to shrink it down to about 3-3.25 cubes, tune it a hair lower, and use an appropriately sized port this time. Go with what I know works this time. Now the good news: It shows some promise, even with the box all jacked up, on a single Sundown SAZ-1500, sealed on the dash, it hit 144.8 @ 42hz. It's also louder sealed up by .3 than with the windows down, so I'm on the right track, just need to build a box that is more appropriate for the sub.
  14. yeah, the woofer is here, I've got to run a few quick errands, and then it'll be installed and broken in. I'll be metering it today on a single Sundown SAZ-1500 wired at .7 I'll post the numbers later tonight after I get done testing and tuning.
  15. Yeah, I built it. The box is 4 cubes, tuned to 38hz with 72" of port area. Daily driver/weekend warrior. Amps are a pair of Sundown SAZ-1500's strapped at .7 ohms. I'll just be running a single amp for a couple weeks though. Need some more $$$$$$$$ for the 2nd amp.
  16. Thanks for the comments guys, the new subwoofer should be here today, and I posted pics of the new box in the member's showoff section. I'm going to break it in, and hit the meter today.
