  1. My goal is to not have step-downs. :/ Though I want to get more power for my system. So 14v is a happy medium.

    I have a few questions:

    • Can I keep my 12v D6500 in the front and add 14V D1400 to the back or would I need to start over with all 14v?
    • Would it be possible to have the 12v in the front with x2 14 in a battery bank with the XS Power 14V AGM IntelliCharger which I can just leave in the back with the batteries connected between the battery bank and from the front?

    The D6500 has these specs:

    MAX Amps – 3,900A
    CA – 1070
    Ah – 75
    The D1400 has:
    Max Amps – 2,400A
    CA – 675A
    Ah – 50
So x2 D1400s would give me a bit more "storage" from what I understand but I dont understand the difference between CA and Max Amps?
    Thanks!
  2. Hello,

I have three things to say here: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68827_NVX-XSP5KIT.html when adding the cross-sells/bundled savings the coupon code does not work. NVX25OFF for example, to get the free sound deadener.

It seems to only work when I use the: "add to cart w/ coupon" CTA. Even if I were to add the kit without the bundled savings and add NVX25OFF in my cart individually it does not work.

    My next question is this.

I'm debating between a few scenarios right now.

    1. Buy just this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68823_NVX-XSP525.html for the rear doors as fillers. Please note I have x2 kits of the XSP6KIT in my front stage.
    2. Buy http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68827_NVX-XSP5KIT.html
    3. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_72200_NVX-VSP525KIT.html
    4. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_72199_NVX-VSP525.html

What should I do? Again I just want to fill the rear seats.

  3. That is odd, I typed in our website, clicked on accessories and it is the very first thing listed. Also supposed to be on featured page, new product page and appears under search if you type the word ROPE.

We are curently working on adding a new section just for this one product, but if you try you can find it pretty easy (at least the 43 customers who have bought them in the past few weeks have found them pretty easy)

Thanks for the feedback, Good Luck and have a Great Day!!!

I see now. Under tools & accessories you do see it but when you click on products on the top http://store.secondskinaudio.com/brands/Second-Skin-Audio.html?sort=priceasc its not there. Though logically I can see why.

is this made with the same butyl rubber as your sound deadener and not Speaker Sealing Caulk like on parts express?

  4. I would only run them on the amps you're pushing to max output. The highs won't see full amp power, right? Just do sub amp and mids if you're pushing those hard.

Yes. The mids and highs will be pushing full output! I don't know if running 6 on a 4 channel amp is a great idea but this is how i think it will be wired:

    x3 pairs: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68822_NVX-XSPTW.html

    running on this: http://www.soundqubed.com/Q4-90_p_252.html

    x1 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68824_NVX-XSP65.html &

    x2 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_68824_NVX-XSP65.html

    running on this: http://www.soundqubed.com/Q4-90_p_252.html

    x2 http://www.soundqubed.com/HDC3110-Copper-Coil-Subwoofer_p_13.html

    x1 http://www.soundqubed.com/Q1-22002-Amplifier_p_31.html

So I should really have x3 output meters than? Now Im thinking of where I need to put these. :(

  5. I don't know how many of what should I buy. I have 1 SMD-OM-1 and this is what Im working with as far as amps:

    x2 Soundqubed Q4-90
    Soundqubed Q1-2200.2

    I was thinking:

    x3 SMD-OM-1
    x1 SMD-VM-1

Now the Q4-90 will separately run the mids and highs.. so one amp will run mids and another will run highs. How if they are outputting the same power for clipping.. could I do with just assuming that my highs are not clipping and -1 SMD-OM-1 or run x2 Soundqubed Q4-90 on 1 SMD-OM-1?

  6. Hello,

I'm on the fence to add two XS Power XP2000 in the back with a XS Power D6500 up front. I already ordered the D6500.

My question is this: if I have a 240a HO with the XS Power D6500 and the two potential XP2000 in the back.. would I need to separately charge the rear batteries or would the current electrical handle it fine? Im guessing I should have two runs from the front -> back battery bank?

  7. You will need a longer bolt than the one that came with the battery if you're going to put those terminals on there. I want to say I bought M8 or M9. You can get them from any hardware store.

Thanks for replying! I bought a pair of these from a guy on Facebook for 32 bucks. The issue I have is that I live in Mexico so while most hardware stores in the states have this stuff I need to make sure I get everything I can when I cross. It costs me 100 bucks just to travel back and forth.. :/ so.. I will make sure I just stop by home depot :)

  8. Hello,

I was trying to format my signature a little differently than everyone else and decided to try and add tr.td's but 1) you're not version 4.* for IP.Board or 2) you don't have this: https://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/7476-table-bbcode/?

    [table]
    [tr]
    [td]1[/td]
    [td]2[/td]
    [/tr]
    [tr]
    [td]1[/td]
    [td]2[/td]
    [/tr]
    [/table]

could you please add that. :)
