Bass Boost
w87will replied to a topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
Same thing here. -
Well I went to homedepot and they dont sell anything that converts my 8 wire bass remote to a 6 wire...I guess thats not possible? Anyway to change this by opening up the amp and swaping some parts out? Or if there is anyother way to just use one bass knob to operate both amps. Thanks

Quad City Dj- 12 ghetto days of christmas? lol -
Will this effect the subs in anyway running both of these one on each sub, Since their not exactly the same? Also Im going to have to see if they make some kind of adapter to change the size of that remote wire....Cause I was going to splice into my other one so Only one Knob controlled both amps......You guys had to make this difficult for me huh? J/p Ill figure something out.

I have a Bxi1606D that I bought acouple years ago. Last week I bought another thinking it would be the same exact specs because Im running each one to their own sub and I want them to be exact. But when I got it they are alittle different. Sub sonic is alittle different. Bass EQ is different. Also my God damn Bass remote wire is different size than the old one... Will this be bad if I wanted them to power each sub the same? Should I try and return it and find an older one like the one I have?

Hmmm. That'll be a tight Fit, if it'll fit at all Ill keep that in mind when Im measuring things to see how it'll work out.

Its an 01 Grand. My Old box I can raise it up alittle higher and make it alittle deeper, which I might do. Just dont want to raise it to much because I like the look of how it lines up with the rear seats.
-
Going in a Grand Cherokee. Last box I had was 41 x 25.5 x 15. I can make the height and depth acouple inches bigger though. Port was 21 x 15 x 5. So the one Chamber and One port design would work best?
-
Im purchasing 2 18" Dc sound LvL 4's. I trying to decide on what kind of box design to build. Should they share one chamber with one port, or have two chambers with their own ports? Obviously Im going for SPL....So I need it to get loud. My previous 15" L5's in one chamber with one port sounded pretty amazing, So im leaning toward that design. Any other suggestions are highly appretiated. Thanks.

I use Mobile17. But for some reason they made a 10 second limit for Verizon users.....Gay. Still use it though, Just make quick little beats that are 10 seconds and have them repeat. -
OMG I would rather shoot myself than hear that song OR see someone doing that gay ass dance. So annoying

Ok. I might try some Peal and Seal on the trunk floor. Think it would hold up on the roof? if not Ill have to pick up something else like that raamat. and I have to find something for road noise, that foam-sponge sheet stuff for my floor board. -
Peal And Seal
w87will replied to w87will's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
I was going to use if for panel vibration and road noise. line the trunk with it, Floor panels, Probably the roof. That why I wanted to see if it really stuck on there good and actually helped at all for anyone. I Have Dyamat on my Lift Gate and it worked like a dream....But alittle to expensive for me When I saw Peal and seal was only $80 for 100sq ft. I thought it'd be amazing if the stuff really worked. -
Yeah I did see that after I sent the money. But who trys to take $120?? lol. Well I put in a dispute and sent a message to his email from paypal. So we'll see what happens.
-
