Thanks a lot man. Il get some pictures tomorrow, that's when it will get done being bagged. I might eventually do a wall but not now. And it would be a clamshell with 4 18"s. But for now I'm doing all the amps and batteries in a custom center console that goes from the front dash all the way to the trunk, rear bench will be turned into buckets. I have 10 cubic feet to work with in the tub of the Vic and a couple more on the shelf in the trunk if I want to utilize that. Each sub will take 5 cubic feet so we are pretty dead on there. Worst comes to worst, it sounds shitty and I do the wall or rebuild a box. But like I tell all the girls, "il make it fit" haha

Ya I think im closer to about 10 cubes in the tub. Im emailing back and forth with DC right now and I think with the power im putting to the 4.5-5 will work. I see what you mean tho. I feel ya man. Ima do my best to get this going within the next month. I am pretty sure I will be able to get them in there at the size I want, about 10cube.

I've done 12"s I've done 15"s and I really want to try 18"s. Why don't you like the idea. I have plenty of room for the box. I am tuning it pretty low, 28hz-30hz. I'm a real deep bass guy. I like my gucci mane and jeezy hittin those lows. I'm not to worried about spl or how many db's it hits, I just want it to be stupid loud and shake the whole car. Let me know, thanks.

there is a good 10-12 cubic feet in the tub area of the trunk. I'm putting 2 5 gallon tanks with compressors on either side of the tub and then on the shelf I am putting the two amps and two batteries. Then I plan on putting 2 more batteries in a custom center console inside the car. It's gunna be tight but il get it in there.

Thanks for all the responses guys. Just got the 24"s on it and it's getting bagged as we speak. Once it's done I'm bringing it to a place in town to get a dual alternator rack welded up and then il start ordering the subs, amps and batteries. I'm not to sure exactly what I'm doing with the box yet, really just trying to get as much air into the inside of the car as possible. Like I stated before, I'm doing a "blow through" through the middle of the rear seat so The port can run right into the car and I was thinking of having the subs facing forward to keep it the same side as the port. What's everyone else thinking?

Looking to do (2) Dc Sound LVL 5 18"s on (2) Powerbass XTA-5000ds strapped. Doing 2 high output 250amp alternators and 3-4 2400 kinetiks. Should be lookin at about 8000-10000 total watts. Is that to much power for them to handle? This car isn't my daily but I want the system to he able to be used as it was a daily. I don't really care about spl numbers and db's and all that I just want it to be rediculously loud in my 01 crown Vic police interceptor. I plan on porting them through the middle of the back seat, taking the bench seat out and puttin in buckets. What does everyone think?

Ya for a basic system, $1500 isn't bad. Prices for a basic are usually $1500-$2000gs. I am bagging my 2001 crown vic police interceptor on 24"s as we speak at a shop here in my town. Its gunna be f,b/s,s everything...and hopefully layframe eventually. Might have to go back in a couple months to move the blower for the a/c and move the gas tank and maybe get a fuel cell. All that work he charges by the hour tho... But for my setup its costing me $3500.
