Team DC 2014 Now taking application
WCA Rusty replied to WCA Rusty's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
I respect the requirements. I spoke personally with Rusty. He was cool enough to send me the proper paper work. I quickly saw, i was lacking. Up coming season, im hoping to be considered. I respect the team, those on it. Maybe ill get there. Cant understand those that dont understand. Good luck the next season DC team. EDIT - and, getting cheaper swag, was the last thing on my mind. I wanted to help, and be a part of a group, was all.. ... ill buy all my own shit.... all day.... See, I love the guys that understand, plus if you just let anyone on it , it wouldent have any meaning. I hope to have you on it as well this year man!! -

People don't make the team all the time. Most understand if they don't meet the requirements as listed on the team app. there was this one guy I did recently and respectfully turn down because he had never even been to a show and wasn't sure how many he may or may not make it to, I explained its a competition team and there's a 10 show requirement, Once he gets some shows under his belt we could re evaluate him them, Dude went off on me LOL. I don't think what we require is really to much to ask. i think he was just looking out for a deal and really could care less about meeting the team requirements. its a 2 way street, We help out the team with discounts on gear, they help us out with advertising and promoting at shows. simple =] -

150 DB with a pair of Lv3 12s?
WCA Rusty replied to WCA Rusty's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Then you missed the meaning of the video. The power they saw was between RMS and Peak , The box they were in was the correct size, i wouldn't over power a sub and put them in a huge box, DCs dont like it. For true SPL comps you dont pick the freq your going to play at, the car and system tells you, Once you know it you build for that. I thought peak was irrelevant. And what were you tuned to? I'm just curious. I guess I don't get it. It just seems like you are saying you didn't even plan anything, you just built a box near what it should be and then just threw more power at the subs till you hit the numbers you wanted. No tuning is always involved, you will never be able to peak out any box without tuning -
