I ordered a 220a(175a@idle) alt with a smaller pulley and first off the Alt came packaged VERY well.I installed it yesterday and...I LOVE IT, i cant say that my amps had ever tasted this much steady constant voltage. With my system at full tilt at idle im no lower than 13.3v and at full tilt cruising im no lower than 14v. Also my system seems louder to the ear now, I have no light dimmage whatsoever. Its a very heavy and well built alt.

since 18's hit the lows better than a smaller sub what does it lack vs a smaller sub?

I have a 83 Cutlass and i was gonna do 2 12" MTs ported facing the rear but, now im thinking about 2 15" MTs ported facing the back seat? ??? Which way should/would get louder? P.S. i dont have foldable rear seats but my rear deck has a couple vents to let the bass into the cabin ;D
