Any more updates on this build. I also own a 99 toyota extra cab. I had a question though. I thought it was not a good idea to mount the amp to the box??? I have just built a box for a single 8" sub because I need one jump seat in the rear for my kids to sit in. I want to remove the Rockford Fosgate P1000X5 from under the passenger seat and put it behind the drivers seat. Can I mount it to a piece of birch ply ( left over from the sub box build) and attatch it to the box?? Should there be some kind of rubber isolator between the sub box and amp rack board? Sorry for all the questions but I really need to get it out from under the seat. Thanks

nahh no time for that. every Rockford amp i ever tested exceeded it's ratings so i am not sweating it. Its not for you man its for us. I love amp test Tuesday and miss it very much.

put the amps on the dyno so we can see what kind of power they make....

rzr800 wasn't good enough....someone said 900 and got it. you said Polaris. That can mean a jet ski, that can mean a snow mobile....so no double win. Sorry! So he wins but didn't put Polaris in his post. Hmmm Well I guess I should of been more specific because a jet ski isn't a car and a snow mobile isn't a car,,,just as the winner should have said Polaris RZR 900 and not just rzr 900. But its not my contest or my site or my decision so I will be done with it now. I will not say anything more about it. Except that it is a bad ass ride and cant wait to see what kind of system you put in it.

didn't say 900 - Polaris can mean a lot of things. While that is true just to be fair the person who won didn't put Polaris in his guess. It was just rzr 900 so in theory that could mean anything also?
