  1. im also curious myself to see how this has effected the way it plays. im also in the process of taking off the rounds on the inside of my port because it didnt help me at all and its just more work to glass it and make it look good rather than just taking it out. plus i can also try making the port longer as well just to see how it tests out.
  2. do a big bank of 16v get real power out of those amps
  3. it obviously wiped everything. some reason it didnt back up. iphone ftl
  4. lost you, nick and brandons numbers. hook me up with all 3 again. restored my phone and lost everything
  5. u suck at reasing lol. i told u i havent filled that void yet with foam haha.
  6. nope no concrete in this thing. the bass response seems WAY WAY better than it was before. i havent metered it yet to see if i gained because i have a few things left to do but im way happier how it sounds now though. definetly feel a huge gain in the ammount of air it produces.
  7. alright i decided to turn it up to see how it sounds right now before i finish it up. so keep in mind the sheetmetal up top is still going to flex until i fill the void with foam. but i just wanted to see how the steel headliner i build flexed or if it flexed at all which it does NOT! WOOT. stoked

  10. should have a hair trick later tonight if the guy who took it gets it on youtube tonight
  11. needless to say this thing seems to move ALOT more air now with this up there. i still have alot of work to do before i put it back together but man im stoked. it sounds ALOT better not having the roof flopping in your ear when you are listening to music. once i deaden it and get the cracks welded up then filled with foam i think its gonna sound nice.
  12. layer of 1/2" x 2" tube steel welded across first then a layer of 1/8" plate steel on top of that. then from left to right i will also have 3 more pieces of tube steel acting as the old roof brace. then fill the void above it all and sound deaden it then place the headliner back up. should be good for my roof. next is figuring something out for my rear doors. possibly using plate steel on all 4 doors
  13. Haha well if we are at a show somehow together I'll let you haha. Gotta get this thing stronger before the next show so I don't rip anymore holes lol
  14. so theres one layer of steel done i have a headliner ready to be put up and welded thats 1/8" thick steel plate. i will still be able to put my headliner back up. i will fill the void between the steel and roof with expanding foam. WOOT hopes for a gain
  15. o look a big box and a lot of power.........imagine that it failed. minus the fact that he was dumb enough to put that much power on a XXX.
  16. Boiler lets just leave the kids here at the playground so they can make all their own mistakes together. hopefully the OP will read the not so stupid parts and learn
