wicks never said that just pointing out that the clamp test looks to be way off for a nice set up he has. my guess is the clamp was getting some interference with the other ones to get a bigger score some how is how im looking at this.

might be the model of a cheap clamp my guess is why its reading this? idk smd stuff is sweet stuff but somthings don't look right for the clamp my guess.

so.... clamp testing is no good? highly think that's not true. bin there for years and smd stuff not made to long ago not saying smd is crap but highly doubt in my head that people that do this for a job to check there electricity and all around industrial areas going to say its not going to read you the right rms coming from one thing... just saying for people who don't use it for car audio I highly would think there readings are wrong.

would not mind seeing its lowest scores with a 12V battery bank and get the idea were I be looking at from my highest to my lowest drops.

like the numbers but for people who don't have 16V systems I don't think they will ever see numbers like that. ill be running a 12V battery bank some time and my alt im waiting on that I pay for is a DC alternator 14.4V at 320amps.... how the hell will I ever see a 14.51 or 14.72 even 14.35 will be supersizing to me with 12V batterys holding the load well the alt puts out. but the 13.61 I can see being done. but my question is why not just use 12V battery as well just to give an idea with a charger as well.
