company doesnt really matter i guess i was just stating companies that are sold around my area there is still at least 1 more car audio store i know of around here and my brothers friend was part owner so i may be able to get a deal not sure what they carry though

ya last time i stopped by there and heard sum guy telling the seller that he had a blown kicker amp and the seller said give him the amp and he would send it in and have it repaired cause he could send it in and get it back alot faster than if the guy were to send it

ya he talks like he has a license but he sells stuff in his truck in a parking lot he has kicker and mtx and eclipse and pioneer stuff he sells.he told me 1600 and i was like laws sells it for 10k and he ssaid ya im alot cheaper than them. Im just lookin to give my 2 18" FI BTL's D1 coils around 5k a piece any other ideas would be great

Alright well iv been doing sum research around town and iv been to 2 car audio stores.#1.LAws electronics..#2.Audio inovations Laws carries-kicker and Memphis Audio inovations carries-MTX Laws quoted me on 2 memphis MCD4KW 4000X1 sub am class D..2 for 3277.50 after tax(and u can blow them each once and have replaced for free) Audio inovations told me he would give me 2(i think it was the TA92001's not 100% sure just said itds do 4k watts) for $1650 a piece so 3300 for 2(said if blown he would replace for free) There is this guy that sell car audio from his truck(kinda sketchy) and he said he could get a KICKER WARhorse for $1600? Are these good prices?Think i could find better online?

iv got 2 18" FI BTLs D1 coils so ima try and wall it like steve just havent installed them yet think im gonna wait till i get everything i need before i start.

well for the longest time iv had it facing into the cabin and iv got a 3dollar walmart meter and it usually gets like 126db but the other day i tried facing the sub toward the trunk and then facing it up and notice i was hitting in the 127's and almost 128 so i just left it facing up.i think ima go get it metered for $10 then go buy go to this pawn shop which carries audio stuff and pick up a ported box for prolly $30

alright well i think ima go get metered tomorrow last time i went in my small nissan ext cab truck with 2 12's and 1200watts and did a 136.8.Now iv got a 4dr accord with a 15" and 1200watts in a 2.3cube sealed box in my trunk.and i was wondering which way i should face the sub?Facing forward,up, or back?
