If you have a 2 ohm load and you have a mono amp is the amp seeing 1 ohm or 2 ohms?

No, if you strap it cuts the LOAD in half.. Like bridging and such.....

bridging doesn't actually lower the speakers resistance though, neither does strapping. The voice coil is still the same resistance. If 2 amps are 2ohm stable when strapped, you put a 2ohm load on it, not 4.
