  15. i was reffering to the handle of a screw driver.. not the metal end.
  16. or take a long screw driver and stick it up through the pole vent and pop it back up..
  17. because the xls will get louder on that 6k than the level 5s.. the level 5s need alot of power to wake up.. the xls are basically a level 5 with a slightly smaller motor.. theyve been known to take a beating. and perform really well. i have a level 4 with level 5 coil and im REALLY happy with it. lots of excursion and no mechanical noise you read my bit about wall socketing it!! lol the audioques are really nice too. alot of loud high power setups on them. and another plus is if you blow it the recones are cheap. and the only thing you have to glue is the surround.. the spiders are spaced apart on a block that you bolt to the basket..
  18. if its 12s.. i would do around a 5 cube box.
  19. level 5s will need more than 3k to come fully alive.. my boy big pimpin has two audioque hdc3s in his bronco 2 in a 9 cube box tuned super low on 6k and they hold up.. 6 cube box for 12s is a little big.. i think 6k in a six cube might be pushin it for 12s
  20. i gave my level 4 with level 5 softparts and coil 3k daily and it was perfectly fine.. if he were to get the xls he would be fine on 3k each daily. i wall socketed my level 4 in a box tuned to 36 hz for 45 seconds and it was perfectly fine.. was just barely warm.. on the dustcap.. no coil discoloration or nothing. i calculated that to be around 4500 watts.. give or take a couple hundie.
  21. audioques take a beating as well.. i really like their spaced spider design.. keeps the coil nice and linear even during extreme excursion. you might wanna take a second look bro!!
  22. he cant do anything higher for it ? its the same motor and pully system as the s10 and s10 blazer and should be the same pully system for the suburbans and tahoes of that year as well..
  23. go with two dc level 4 xls.. they will love that 6k in a smart built box.
  24. lol i have a 3 inch coil that laughed at 3k when i tried to blow it..
