ok my buddy finagled the belt on and now it's tight but I have voltage problems. With the car on it's at 12 volts and with everything else on it still sits at 12 volts never higher. Got the batt checked and suposidly it's fine and got an amperage test done and that read there was no output but yet it was saying there was14.5 volts out I'm really confused now

ok that makes sense I just need to know what you suggest for gettin that smaller belt on and thanks for the help and I didn't wanna sound like an ass I was just really frustrated

I tryed and they are closed untill monday

well i purchased an alt from mechman and it was the 250 amp alt for a 95 toyota celica. i got a good price and all of that and the alternator is beautiful however it doesnt fit. first off the bolt for the tensioner was to short no problem easy 1$ fix. But now i have an even greater problem the alternator case is so large that it will not fit inbetween the top mount and the bottom mount with enough space to let me slide the alt in and out to get tension on the right size belt. i am wondering if anyone knows a way to fix this or if i should start looking for a new alt.

check the fuse off the batt and the acc wire and and make sure that they are conected to the right terminals. also is the woofer wired to a lower ohm load than the amp can handle, there are many things that can go wrong with an amp one good way to tell if its gone is to take another amp and hook it up to what you have and see if that one works

you just have to trouble shoot it, make sure you are getting a good acc power and 12volt and you need to do better than just touch the grounds, take the paint off and ground it that way, if that doesnt work make sure the woofer is good, then i would look at the fuses on the amp, after that i would guess that the amp is shot

well ive had to warrenty mine 2 times now, they finally just sent me a new one again, first it was the disk reader then it was the sound card good times

why dont you just crimp them much easyer im my opinion

well last time i used a ac i was 10db lower so its a toss up as to how off it will be
