well there can be two pops 1. if comming from the amp, its just thr relays inside flipping 2. if comming from the speakers, then thats caused by i beleive a short power burst from the caps powering up. Thats why you see amps that say stuff like "soft turn on" or "no thump turn on" or" muted start" somthing like that.

Hmm you should get a reading as long as the dmm is on AC volts, not amps. Try a 60Hz tone on the AC volt setting. If still nothing then double check your metter with a house ac outlet.

I have a similar set up. Kicker 5 1/4 components for the mid range and tweeters, and kicker 6.5 for mid bass. The compoenets are hi passed at 150 hz, the midrange is hi passed at a pre amp kicker 3 way acvtive crossover at 80 hz, then low passes on the amp at 500 hz, that way they play from 80 to 500, creating the band bass filter. Or you can build your own bandbass filter, go to the12volt and they have a great tutorial and chart on how to make them

O well that makes way more sence...and its that bad of an idea.. it would work, but would it be louder? I would doubt it would, i mean yea ported will be louder but your loosing HALF your cone area. And half the power

But that wouldnt work would it? If all 12 of your drivers have there own chamber, then taking half out and replace with a port would just be like porting an empty box with no woofer. Of am i missing sumthing?

Thats not gonna work my man. The way that drawing is, every chamber has its own tunning since the lenght of port gets smaller . It would work if each champer had the same amount of port lenght from each opening. And since these are small chambers, the port shouldnt be too long at all

????? There should only be two freq settings, one for LP and one for subsonic, unless its an rf amp (maybe others too) that let you adejust what freq you want the bass boost to occur at. If thats what it is i would set it a little above what your box is tuned to, again thats if it is a bass boost freq

You have voltage problems right? Well would you rather spend $50 on a cap that will sovle nothing, or spend maybe $15 on wire and ring terminals to do simple wire upgrade. Trust me its not hars, some cars its a 20 min job ( 6 hours for my car lol). At the least do the big three. Also a kinetik out back maybe help, but it will mainly work better when playing your system with the car off...o and 12.5 is not too bad, especaily if thats at idle. Try reving it to maybe 1500 rpm and see what it drops to.

Yea, low pass at 80 is fine, and subsonic/istronic filter set at 20 or 25 hz should be fine....The low pass dosent "block" out freq above, rather it "slopes" them. If its a 12 Db/ocvate it cuts the signal by 12db every 8 notes or hertz. So even set at 80, the sub would still play say 100 hz, just not nearly as loud as if it was at say 50 hz....Now the subsonic does "block" freq lower that what its set at, to prevent damage to the sub.

Well im no expert but heres what i do 1. Set low pass at or a little below what your subs highest freq responce is. Most subs ae around 80 to 100 Hz 2. Turn the subsonic on, if you have a feq adjustment for that as well (most amps do) set it about 10 Hz lower that your box tunning 3. Any gains and bass boost you can do my ear, or use a dmm or scope

Well if you compair the athlon at 2.5 to the p4 at 3 i would bet on the amd ( even tho im a intel fan). But if you can get the p4 running 3.4+ then that would b best. Either way i would sell both rigs and start from scratch, maybe even go PICe 2.0 with a kick ass video card from nvidia. But if you do build a new rig, stick with intel

Well there are two reasons why i did the mold, and what you said is one of them, i can take the mold off and still have the factory pannel in tack The other reason is because they have a carpeted finish, not plastic so since you cant really "flow" fiberglass into carpet like you can with plastic or anything.

Just did it 5 min ago, said item was damaged, not from shipping (couldnt have been) also item was in used condition, not new as listed....In the end i just want my 180 back and either keep the battery, OR have him pay for me to ship it back to him.

Yea i did that with fedex, even tho im sure the damage did not come from them...I have to wait till tomarow to do anything with ebay, they require that you wait 10 days to file a claim.
