    My overall favorite brand is DC, because bass is my favorite part of a sound setup and my favorite bass instrument is the DC audio sub! Rusty provides the best customer service in the business IMO, and you can't beat the quality of his products.

    All it does is dim your head unit when you opt to (Illumination wire). You don't need to use them, just match the wires up and don't use the rest. You'll be fine.
