  1. Okay from the top, just a concept. Go big or go home! Passenger van with side doors on both sides of vehicle. Rear spare tire area is cut-out for an amp rack (T15K) that would sit partially below the floor like slices of bread. The side doors are for access to the bolted door to the middle subs. Back wave of woofers is channeled accordingly above the walls of the middle and front woofers. The front woofers are mounted backwards. The back wave port is tuned accordingly. The front wave of the woofers is channeled towards the rear of the vehicle. Thoughts, opinions???
  2. I just wanted to come up with a totally different idea than the usually setups. The specifics would be ironed out, if someone were to build it. I've actually come up with a similar setup but this time, NO cancellation on the front, heheh...
  3. I for got to add that each 18 would have its own chamber.
  4. I thought about this but figured the rear subs have a back wave going towards the front, the front subs have a back wave and a front wave going towards the front, why not have the back waves of the rear and the back waves of the front be what the main tuning of the vehicle would be. they might cancel out some of the front subs front wave.
  5. There's ways to prevent the pressure leak with secured doors, but the rear six and the front six can be port tuned to work in conjunction for high numbers. It's like having a vertical wall of 12 18's but with only have the space. Whenever I see the spl vehicles that have this wall of like 4 subs and a port so big you could see around the wall, I would think that the back wave and front wave would cancel out. But if you wire the rear six out of phase with the front, then the back wave of the rear six would equal the front wave of the front six, in theory. Anyways, I was just doing a rough box design. I'd like to help someone with a design. But, I could not afford to build such setups on my own. That's why I just do the music. Oh and the power, it's what ever you want to push through them. (12) 18's what, say about, um, 7,500w each= 6 t15k Rockford fosgate beasts installed in a custom amp rack that sits partially below the floor, stacked like slices of bread.
  6. I think you would have to use a flat head screwdriver to pry it off. I would just order replacements from Autozone since they are cheap. I had one and did a motor swap in mine, an 87 crx with jdm b16a swap.
  7. I'm the go big or go home type. Thanks for indicating what it might be. I was wanting the back wave output from the six firing towards the back to fire in conjunction with the ones firing forward. I didn't want it be clamshelled neither because, I wanted it as a vertical wall. Besides one can do like Japan and bump forwards and Backwards.
  8. My guess is look at Mr Proffessa's bass reflex transmission line box with 4 12s and go from there.
  9. I have a crazy idea: Basically it goes like this. It is a ported wall with six firing to the front, and six firing towards the back, all subs are ported towards the front. The six firing towards the back are suppose to act like they are firing into a sealed enclosure with the back of the vehicle being closed. What are your thoughts? I have not learned how to tune ports? I just like doing crazy designs.

All pictures and videos taken with a Nikon CoolPix P5100 12 MP Digital Camera Here are some highlights: A stretched and slammed hayabusa with a bumpin sound system Also there was a huge charter bus trying to get out of the parking lot but barely scrapped a helmet that was hanging on a bike that was partially in the way.
