  2. Hmmm, I couldn't get a 5.8 cubic foot box in the trunk of my Fusion. The opening of my trunk is too small, although the trunk space itself was ok.
  3. This has got to be from a movie. Stuff like this doesn't happen in real life.
  4. I just checked the specs and features of that HU, you would eventually connect all the RCA pre-outs. I'm not sure if you have the fronts, mids, and subs all connected now. I didn't quite follow you on that answer, however, you would connect the fronts on the 1st RCAs, the rears on the 2nd set of RCAs, then the subs on the 3rd set of RCA pre-outs. You following me?
  5. You would only connect the RCAs you're using. Your HU doesn't have a built in EQ?
  6. What's your setup? You running subs, mids, and highs? And what EQ and HU do you have?
  7. And that means what? Probably making a comparison to JL, because they're good at brainwashing people nationwide and convincing them their product is worth as much as it is, and other companies are trying to figure out how to do the exact same thing.
  8. Exactly what he said. I ran JL at one time(few years back), and they are overpriced, overrated, and overhyped subs. I've seen the W1, W3, W6, and W7 all in action, and you can get a lot better subs for the money you spend on JL. Hell, most brands you can buy 2 of each compared to 1 JL they are so expensive.
  9. You can get this Eclipse for less money, if you're cool w/out having the USB input, and having to buy an adapter for it. Still an 8 volt pre-out, and under your budget. http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...Product_ID=4953
