  1. I'm confused by your post. Are you saying there is no need for optics at all or just no need for them on shotguns shooting clays out to 25 yards? Haha....... I wasnt always a cop. The sad fact is 99% of departments dont have the budgets to get top shelf stuff. If I'm gonna bet my life or someone elses life on it trust me when I say it will be with teh best gear possible.
  2. The NXS line that I use starts at $1500+ for the low end magnification and just tops $2k for the higher magnification. The S&B that opiates would cost me about $3300 to replace
  3. Lol..... You guys will get there. Here's 2 Night Force NXS's and a Swarovski I forgot I had. If anyone ever questioned if all this was mine I snapped a pic on a an oldschool hifonics Zeus. Now you guys know how I fell when I see a 10k DC amp. I drool too!
  4. Just curious what guys here on the forum are using. I run S&B, NF, Zeiss and a handfull of Leupold Mk IV.
  5. Decided to do a quick in car test to see the output of my JL b4 I switch out amps. Wanted to see how much if any change there would be after I pull the Fosgate and add the Referance 1000s. Quick video shows what was going on. You will notice the mic on teh Iphone couldnt pick up the bass but the SPL meter did. I hope the quality of my videos is getting better. It's all about production value! Here is the output with teh system maxed out. radio at 35, EPX2 at 40 Tone and EQ set flat and the output of the amp DD-1'ed and Velleman O-scoped. This sub is getting a clean 633 watts to it. Output is as follows: 20Hz = N/A ( output to low for meter to pick up) 25Hz = 93dB 30Hz = 102dB 35Hz = 106dB 40Hz = 110dB 45Hz = 115dB 50Hz = 116dB 55Hz = 116dB Posting from anothet thread i started:
  6. You pushed to hard for the 1st time out. 400mg of Naproxen twice a day fir the next 3 days and you'll be fine.gradually work your way up to a routine you feel comfortable with. Going balls out, getting hurt and nit being able to get in the gym is just as bad as not going at all. Rome wasn't built in a day, but it only takes an hour to wreck it!
  7. And b4 the question of muzzle flash comes up here's a video of one of our resign sessions. Low light / no light. Wevare using g27's and as you can see even in a short barrel muzzle flash is not blinding.
  8. Funky Pup for SPL anyone? Seriously though, I think these were the last great Solo's made
  9. Dear member with a chick in your avitar, I just wanted to let you know that I looked up your profile today. It wasnt becuase you had some great post or started an epic thread so dont feel special. In fact, odds are you have probably contributed as much to this forum as a one armed man on a rowing team. See, the simple fact of the matter is i'm a straight guy. This means you could put a picture of any chick in your avitar and I would click on your profile to try and get a better look. So thanks! And if possible have bigger better ones in your profile to make it worth my while when I stalk. Face Book is so played out now a days and everyone has their security settings to high. TIA
  10. and this mocked up in the trunk just to get some sound going: and thsi up front for some bass testing:
  11. Got the rear fill in a little while ago and just fogot to post. Old School Boston Pro series 5.25's in a co ax mount. Gotta love left over laminated wood planks!
  12. Craigslist is where I got this one from. It came from cali and with shipping the guy sold it to me for $70. So I figure $50-$60 local to someone who has to have it. I wouldnt pay more thatn $50 to be honest with you. Great amps but not my thing any more.
  13. looking to replace the tired OEM pieces. 114,000 on the clock and these things gotta go. Anyone with recomendations for what to use? TIA
  14. Yes, the speaker harnesses are. The 8 gauge power and ground go straight to the board.
  15. For any 2 legged critter hunting I use an M1 Super 90 or M3. for all other a SBE. And as a side not, a SBE may need some rounds through it b4 it will cycle the super light 7/8 oz loads reliably . The Versa max that I shot ran with no problems and was good. Did not have the same fit and finish as teh other two though. it just didnt "feel" right but performed as good as the others.
