  1. congrats brother to you mrs meade and the parents, new babys in the family is always awesome
  2. right on im going Monday to talk with a guy that has little more smarts about this than I do, and ive thought going down to 12cubes and I might have to.. ill have more info for yall Monday evening after talking to this guy! tonasty said to me already 12cubes be ok I believe ill settle on this, stay tuned
  3. I been posting on here bout another build my current one sucks... I know I need 13cubes net but damn, thats still really big for the ext. cab truck I have. that's just a regular ported box, im trying to get away from having a wall. I don't mind it but the truck I have is known for leaky back windows,,, and ive already replaced the seal in it once, and if it leaks I wont know having a wall till it ruins my equiptment,, so any other suggestions on a box that might require less airspace? I know there lots of different designs out there just not familiar with them. any sudgestions?? thanks for all yall input and the help I get from the smd fam! holler
  4. ? don't bash me bro, but by infinite baffle does that mean the same thing as inverted subs or similar??
  5. I talked to the people at sundown they said 180 sqin of port so you bout right and ima have pics of this new build for yall directly
  6. and if I change the box that much how about port area it says 112 in^2 for 7.00 ft^3 if I do 12 should I change the port any or stay the same as they say it need or different im not sure how to know what I have for port area now that would help if I knew how to calculate that
  7. right on I was thinking that would be ok its to big now at 16 so 12 might jive!!!
  8. I read that I need 7.00 ft^3 so if I have two of them I need 14 the box I currently have is 16 after displacement that damn thing just don't work for my ext cab truck can if I make a new one at 12 ft^3 how much will that hurt me for sound (I did not build that box but I am building the next one) if someone can help out with some input before I go waste anytime and money building I would greatly appreciate it!
