  1. You can take any video from youtube and plug it in here and get just the audio file from it, this site works great. But unless you subscribe (costs 5 bucks) you can only convert one file every 12 minutes. http://converttube.com/ I hope this isn't against the rules somehow, if it is just let me know and I'll edit it.
  2. hey bro, "Beat 50" kicks ass!!!! your stuff is awesome, you got a cd out that we can purchase/order yet???

  4. looks awesome. but i got a couple questions: must take a little longer to slow those things down with the factory brakes huh? and secondly, how do you plan on getting the tire stickers out of the treads seeing as the stupid tire and wheel guys left them all on???? lol, thats one thing we do in our shop, peel the stickers off so they don't get run/stuck into the tread and take forever to get out, they also look like @ss when there's still little pieces in there after a few weeks. They look awesome though, really clean look on the hoe! congrats

  10. Im not sure what they are, but im running Audiobahn 12" Alum Q. There a few model years old. I can run out to the garage and dig the boxes out and look if you need me too. Thanks for the help
  11. Thanks for the help, I'm gonna have to do that this weekend, but I'm still kind of confused on how to figure out how many ohms I wired it for, or how I should have it. Each of my subs has two positive and negative ports on either side, so i wired the positive and negative into one side, and on the same side, ran a positive and negative wire from the other set to one set on the other side. How many ohms is that? should i have it wired differently? Any help is greatly appreciated because im still new to this, being my first install and all. Oh, and if i set my gains with my subwoofer control on the headunit at 0, i just use the input level thing on my amps, then once that's set, i can continue to adjust my subwoofer output when i want right? Thanks a lot guys for any and all help
  12. ya they were sleeping. it was like 11:30 12, at night, i had just got done cleaning the car and the camera was out there. I usually listen to it at about 15-17 volume, with the sub level at around 9-10, this is all on the head unit. Thats a pretty nice level i think, but when im really trying to go loud, it seems that with the sub on level 15 (max) the subs seem to not get any louder past about 20-21???? any ideas, and thanks for the comments guys
  13. i do gamertag= VaultQBert
  14. This is the first vid of my system, i made it last night after cleaning my car. i was surprised at how little the camera picks up the vibrations and shaking of things, but i guess that could be because it has that "steady shot" thing, idk. anyway, theres a few songs on it, the vid gets better after the first song, so just keep watching. any comments or thoughts would be great. im already thinking about a new system this winter, so any thoughts on that would be great too. Thanks guys http://media.putfile.com/Audiobahn-Caddy
  15. people on here would probably beat me, but Halo 2 would be easy to set up tournaments. Whats everyone's Gamertags? Mines: VaultQBert Peace
  16. hey, i knew i couldn't be the only one with an old eldorado!! I love those wheels man, i was thinking about getting 18's like those on my 89 eldorado. where did you find the right spacing and etc? could you give me the site or place you ordered them from? the white doesn't look to bad, check out my silver and blue two tone: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...?showtopic=6813 I definitely have to get 18" spoke wheels. thanks man
  17. ya, me and my dad. i did the blue and silver, and the taping of the lines, and he did the clear because its the most important part and he's been doing it a lot longer than i have. i've done a few other custom jobs before, paintball guns, a motorcycle, a dirtbike, a few nalgenes with my airbrush, a ti-83 calculator. i dont think im too bad at painting for only being 15, but i know im not anywheres nearly as good as other people out there. but the work i do looks good to me, so im happy anyways.
  18. if what i have read and was told when i bought everything, the subs can handle 1500watts each and the amps are pushing 1000watts each (thats what i was told when i bought them), with 1 farad capacitors for each amp. i have 1/0 gauge wire from the battery to a distribution block with fuses that splits the power into two 4 gauge wires that run the lenght of the car back to the caps, then to the amps, and you get the picture.
  19. workin on it boys. more sub pics up. ya, i dont know what im gonna do for wheels. i was thinkin possibly chrome these with Alsa Corp.'s Killer Chrome Paint (www.alsacorp.com), or maybe get like 17" chrome wire spokes. last of the pics thanks again for any and all opinions
  20. Hey guys and gals. im new to the site, but have been surfing it for a while before, loved the forum and site so i had to join. but anyway, i got my cadillac eldorado around this same time last year, i was 15 then and was working on it whenever i got a chance to. just little things like sanding and getting it ready for paint. then i figured that i should throw a system in after riding with my buddy for a while, he had i think two 10" mtx thunder 1000's or something and we thought we were badass. but i now have realized after putting together my own build and checking out this site it was really weak. but anyway, i originally got a 12" audiobahn alum q woofer, an A8000T amp and a capacitor. i then built a box to the specs in the tech manual that came with it, but made a few of my own adjustments. after the car sat all winter i got it back out and went through the whole thing again. started to work on the thing here and their again. then i got into drivers ed and started to get closer to the whole license thing, so i decided i wanted to get it done. i have been working on it for about 4 weeks straight, and have gotten the paint all done. i did an old school two tone look with the pinstripes painted on, so theres no lines or tape stripes on the top of the clear. about $500 or so just in materials for the paint. after i stumbled onto this site, i realized i needed more bump. so i got another exact duplicate of my setup now and installed that last weekend. i know there were some things that i could have done better, but this was my first ever build and my first car. oh and i put sony xplod 6 1/4 in the front doors, and xplod 6x9s in the rear deck. now i know the xplods aren't that great, but they work for now and they will be replaced soon. just wondering what other people out their think of my ride. all the kids at school dig it, just wondering if people from other parts of the country do. any tips on what i should do next time or anything would be great. ill post as many pics as i can. ill start with the out side before, then after, then the sound system. thanks guys and gals
  21. ya, any caddy usually has a pretty large trunk, as well as all volkswagons i've seen. the new honda accord is pretty big too, or any older GM car.
