The counselor never told me i had to go to th financial aid office...they called again today and told me that when i got my financial aid check it would be $4,322.75..thats for everything, and wats left over i can keep...

well update: I went and got my classes, just signed up for general studies. Well i was all excited and i got home and my mom said she hadn't talked to the financial aid lady...The woman finally called and said that i wasnt gonna be able to go to school because i "supposably" never told them i was gonna go to school and that back in march when i first signed up i shouldve went to the Financial aid office and the counsler shouldve told me that. So now it takes 6 weeks to process my f.a., or i can pay out of pocket which is ridiculous. So i guess the idea of taking first semester off has to happen...That sucks cuz i so wanted to start next Wednesday. I guess it gives me more time to think..

well thanks guys, i just got back from DCC which is DAnville Community College and i signed up for general studies for a semester...math english and computer something...well see how it goees

so i just got out of hs in june and the community college starts next week. im not sure on wat to study and im thinking about just taking of first semester. But i was just curious, has anyone gone to college? and if so wat did u study? wat would be a good field to go in? i really dont wanna take off the first semester but i dont wanna go major in something im not gonna enjoy, even though i can always change it...please any suggestions are welcome...thank you

yea, last summer some buddies and i were camping out by a pond, u know drinking sodas, a few beers, some grey goose, and we all got pretty shitty. they decided to go lay down and go to sleep and i had an unopened Dr. Pepper in my hand. i was like wtf, ima throw it in the fire, along with 2 nasty ass Natty Lights. after about 5 minutes of laying down i heard something sizzling. i looked out the tent and the dr .p. can had swole up big as hell, and then it just compressed back down. so i layed back down and about 30 sec. later the fire erupted.sounded like a bomb going off. fucking 10 pound logs flying 5 feet in the air, boiling dr. pepper going everywhere. Shit was funny...
