  1. I have NOT followed rules so i cant sell here yet.... I need to post PICTURES with my screen NAME and date in them to sell
  2. That is correct, I had disconnected RCA's and speaker wires and it was still in protection. I had disconnected everything and reconnected everything and it was still in protection, I had disconnected everything and reconnected just the power, ground, and remote and it is still in protection.
  3. The front driver is reading 5.5 none are OL so I guess the speakers are not the problem. Looks like I may need to send it off to Sundown, I still have warranty on it so thats good
  4. Forgive me if this is dumb. The red protection led came on no my sax 100.4 this morning. I tested the speakers and the right front reads 4.3 ohms the left front reads 5.5 ohms and both bak read 4.2 ohms. I know a speaker short can cause the protection to come on. Is the 5.5 a short or would it read OL on the meter? I the the power, ground, remote, speaker and RCA's and let it sit awhile. I hooked everything back up and it still is in protection. When I turn on the deck the power LED flashed and then it turns to the protection and the power LED goes out. The thing that concerns me is the one speaker at 5.5 ohms, but it is still in protection with all the speakers and RCA's unhooked so now I'm not sure that the one speaker at 5.5 ohms is the bad guy. All the power and ground connections are solid and flowing power. I think that about covers it, let me know if you can think of anything else I can do to try to narrow down the problem.
  5. he was a great buyer, wish all sales were this smooth
  6. Be careful with the back. 2002 and up have IRS. The axles go through the frame, meaning that if you go to low or high you will be rubbing the frame with axles and that is bad news. Unfortunately there are not many options for us. I do know of a guy that swapped out to a solid rear axle and c-notched the framed and ran air-bags.
  7. To answer any questions about vehicle compatibility the MLA website says this module "Ford began using the 3G in the early 1990's, and gradually phased in the 4G series in the late 1990's. Finally they phased in the 6G model around 2000. There is a great deal of overlap within the Ford line, and many model years had a mix of 3G, 4G & 6G series alternators. Our module is designed to work with virtually all of the internally regulated Ford alternators (2G, 3G, 4G & 6G) used in cars & trucks."
  8. I just reconnected the module so guys could see how it installs. This is on my 2002 Explorer This is the wire to cut and splice into. It is the A on the voltage regulator plug. On my truck it is orange and blue, it may be different on your vehicle. Then you just connect the modules wires to the 2 ends so the module is wired between the two ends you just cut. It does not matter which module wire you hook up to which end. It works in either direction, so it is pretty much idiot proof. Once the wires are connected you just mount the module and screw the ground from the case of the module to the vehicle. Now you have voltage.
  9. This came out of my 2002 Explorer, MLA site says "Ford began using the 3G in the early 1990's, and gradually phased in the 4G series in the late 1990's. Finally they phased in the 6G model around 2000. There is a great deal of overlap within the Ford line, and many model years had a mix of 3G, 4G & 6G series alternators. Our module is designed to work with virtually all of the internally regulated Ford alternators (2G, 3G, 4G & 6G) used in cars & trucks." I'm asking $100 shipped. Only reason I'm selling it is I'm getting a new truck through my family's company and trying to recoup some of the money I put into this Explorer. I've had it just about a year and have had no complaints at all, it does exactly what they said it would do. The module works great, you can look at the thread I made about it here http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...=28259&st=0
  10. Para SSP Gun Rights model in 45 ACP, of course. Holster is from Little Bear Holsters in Fl, it is leather with black shark trim and belt loops. It has become my daily carry rig after putting the gun through a prolonged torture test. And now a picture with his big brother. Its my race gun. It is a Caspian frame with a Colt Series 80 slide, compensated barrel, and all custom internals

  12. Just a few thoughts on this new amp now that I have it hooked up. It's f'ing great.... enough said. The ability to adjust just about everything you could possible think of is amazing. I'm running Type R 6.5 comps in my front and rear doors and it brings them to life better than any of my previous amps. I've had a JL 300/4 and a Alpine PDX 100.4 on them and Sundown beats the big mainstream boys like a red headed step child. All i need to do now is save so I can redo my substage again
  13. I'll call him cuz I want it shipped to my work instead of my house, thanks
