For reasons beyond my control I'm selling my subs :censored: . They are 12 dual 2 ohm Type R's. I barely used them only about a month of playtime on them. One of the subs has a scratch on the logo that doesn't really show in the picture but it's purely cosmetic. I have the boxes for 2 of them but have lost the 3rd. to run two subs on a mono amp jumper the wiring from sub to sub to achieve the desired ohm load then go the amp with one set of wires, easiest way to show would be to look at this and play with combinations http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp

Rated powers of the 2 I know, both will do rated if not a little more on good electrical Sundown -1500 @ 1 ohm AQ2200d - 2200 @ 1 ohm

why not strap 2 smaller amps for the needed power?

So when I add my batts in the back do I run + and - then ground the amps to the rear batteries or just run + and ground the rear batts and amps to the frame?

I assume you are running an aftermarket H/U since you have a remote wire in the harness. The ideal situation would be to install a relay on the remote wire and than each amp will have its own turn on. Not sure if the way you have it set up is dangerous or anything but better safe than sorry. It would suck to burn up 2 amps.

SEC is hands down the best conference, show me another with as many top 25 teams. Our only problem is we kill each other before the end of the season, even the traditionally crappy teams in the SEC usually handle other conference teams. so with a combined fuse rating of 290 Amps for both amps what capacity batts should I be looking at? I have the 220 amp alt and MLA module but I would like to change the main battery and have whatever I need in the back also. I'm thinking a Kinetik HC1400 up front and HC1800 in the back?

Money is the only obstacle right now. I just wanted to make sure I could run everything on the 1 battery and alt for now without frying it until I can get some more batteries next month.
