  1. All I'm gonna do is run a set of components and a set of coax's. I was gonna buy one and then got told I have to wait 8-12 weeks. Now I'm trying to figure out if I should wait or just buy the one Chris has.
  2. I saw that but it i the 1st model before all the updates. Are those still worth it?
  3. Check your states regulations on hunting guns, many of them have a limit on how many rounds the gun can hold, and an AK or AR or mini 14 will 99% of the time will exceed that limit of rounds. The last thing you want is to be walking to your truck and have a game warden fine you, take your gun and haul your ass to jail for something silly like that.
  4. anyone know where I can get a 100.4 without waiting 12 weeks for the new one to come out?
  5. I had a cat go missing once, i left a trail of tuna to the back door and his fat ass showed back up, but sorry if he's gone.
  6. hop on a cruise ship and take it back to Miami Pick up some MDF and get back on and go home
  7. well if you can't use a gun a bow is hella fun, gotta get close and hit it right or that piggy will kick your ass, at least central florida pigs will
  8. At least a 308 or a good bow, If you can gat a mini 14 in a larger caliber it would be fun as all get out to shoot with that
  9. no subs up port back like this, Ignore the writing in the port section, it changed since I drew it
  10. Just have one more ?, When I run the numbers for desired port length in the inputs between 18-23(grey area) the tuning changes(37Hz @18 inches and 34Hz @23 inches) but the wood length does not, so is there a way to know what your actually going to be tuned at?
  11. well anyways thanks again, I hope this turns out good
  12. Ahh, the grey area now I get it I noticed if I did anywhere between 18-23 the L1 didn't change but the tuning did. I ain't gonna build anymore boxes, shit makes my head hurt. I'm one of those people that will be thinking about why i does that for a week now
  13. Hey amatt85 one question for ya. Circled in yellow is the desired port length, and circled in red is the dimensions it spit out, so do I just have a port that goes straight back or does it have a turn up anywhere? The paint picture is what I think it looks like Screen shot of your calculator My interpretation
  14. Ha, i was just gonna ask you for some advice, but you answered it already. I used your calculator and started building it this afternoon. I finally got the numbers I wanted, but like a dumbass I left the plans I drew up of the calc's numbers at work. So I only built the sides and the bottom and left the top off so I can do the port tomorrow. I tuned it at 33.5 so hopefully it will sound pretty good. The port will be 20x5 but I cant remember the length. Thanks for a good Excel program by the way, it helped alot. I'll take pictures in the morning.
  15. This is what I have been figuring on a new box design, let me know what yall think. It's the same size as the one I have now but subs up port back, different portzizes and placement. Specs are in the picture
  16. to keep the lows hammering and not have a fast roll off on the higher notes what would you do, I don't want a one note wonder
  17. If it makes a difference I'll be switching from subs and port back to subs up port back
  18. I'm pretty sure it will be OK. I don't have anything to model the response curves on so that is where I need help. With the volume being larger than "suggested" I don't know how the subs will react. I have the box tuned to 30.6 by amatt85's calc. That is right where I want to be but want to make sure the subs will do alright in this case.
  19. I'm probably gonna rebuild my box using amatt85's calc. I figured out how I want the box laid out but am wondering if 2.46 net cubes per sub is gonna be OK. I have 3 Type R 12's Dual 2 ohms. Alpine says 1.7 gross and 1.3 net, seems small for to me but that's what the manual says. They will each be getting 500 Rms. I think that covers everything
