  1. Okay so i think i might try this if everyone seems to think it can be done it sounds like fun! I'm going to start out small first 8" sub possibly or a 10" .... How big of a barrel is the question..
  2. i was thinking something close to a Bass bazooka King kong size! lol
  3. a camaro is a lot of fun to put a system in i had to remove the backseat but i had 4 12 inch cvr's 2- 600 watt kicker mono block amp on those and 2 10" ppi pistons with a Precision Power PC1800.2
  4. How possible is it to place a 18" sub in a barrel with Dynamat inside to keep the echo out of it and port the back side? Could this idea be done or not at all possible? just a late morning idea i came up with what does everyone think? Oh and before someone says what about it rolling u could tack weld some flate plate under it to hold it in place...
  5. i think Scaring people who are in a cemetery is pretty tasteless ...
  6. Okay I dont have any pictures of my hearse I havent purchased any subs yet i am trying to decide on what i want to install And how i want to install it i have a box for 8 12's Already built in it is a sealed enclosure And i dont think i want that either but i am for sure going to run 8 12's ... Far as people bullshittin whatever i guess im not on here to impress anyone i am sure most of you have way more money than i'll ever have with bmw's and tahoes and escalades i drive a 92 hearse mmk lol if i was just trying to bullshit about something i'd tell people i have dead people in the back of my car i'm here for the same reason all of us come to this site for the love of car audio the reason i am asking ?'s is to find out whats good what to run how to do it no one just jumps in head first not knowing how to do shit right? ... Would i get just as loud with 4 18" subs? vs 8 12" subs?
  7. Okay I think instead of a wall i am going to just run 8 12 inch jl audio w7's How many amps am i going to need and what brands? the box is going to be sealed .....
  8. that could be the problem why everyone thinks its impossible mine was nitro not Electric
  9. i said "about" 65mph i didnt say it would do it but it was very close i played with some different gear ratio setups 70/19 I took off a lot of Weight that was just plastic didnt really need it lighter rims lots of carbon the fantom .15 is rated at 1.35 hp 38000 rpm on a truck that weighs 73oz Something i forgot to add because it was late i took a tank off the rc10 gt and put that on my rusty and stock out of the box they would do 50 so 65 mph isnt that hard to get...And of course your E-maxx wouldnt do that it wasnt meant to go fast its 4 wheeldrive and heavy ....
  10. I had a rustler .15 but the engine blew up so i switched it out with a .15 fantom 360 Mip stinger pipe proline paddles Cen Racing Shocks it'd do about 65mph
  11. I talked to a friend today he said he could set me up a system for 1200 dollars i told him i wanted atleast 4 15" subs and the amps to run them like i said in a previous post he goes to police auctions and can get basically anything car stereo related so 1200 dollars isn't bad An example i bought 4 10" ppi pistons and a fosgate amp to run them for 750.00 for as long as i can remember he has always cut me a deal so my question about equipment was What would be a good amp to have him look for or amps?
  12. you wouldnt be the first person to tell me to do that and i would like to design something like that but I also want to put a wrap around couch in the back
  13. Nah i didnt think it was harsh i see what you're saying a local stereo shop wanted to charge me 700 dollars to build it and i think i can do it cheaper and far as equipment goes i have the hookup on all that My friend goes to police auctions and can get ahold of pretty much anything i want so i probably wont have to spend but 1200 dollars for everything thanx for posting those pics that hearse is pimp! also no this is my every day driver i just want as loud as i can get it i dont plan to compete with it But would Like it to have the ability to if i so choose to ya know?
  14. Lol that would be nice for sure i was just talking to my cousin and were going to run 6 15 inch Something i don't know yet Im still trying to get this box build figured out Also i should add yes my car is 23 feet but i dont have 23 feet of room i have about 10 feet to work with Plus i plan to build a wrap around couch in the back so i will need some room for that as well
  15. some great ideas thank you What is the website for FI? the hearse fought with me tooth and nail today i took out the rollers which the casket set on and all the metal made a lot of free space for me Next i'm going to dynamat the entire back half of the car I have never built a wall so this is brand new is it as hard as it seems? How do u know what the box is tuned at? Would huge ports be a good thing? 7" or so... anyone have any suggestions on an amp or amps?
