my bor in law has the nicer ford ranger rims on his 4x4 (factory) and when the brake dust and iron builds up on them hell wash them by hand first then he comes back around the rims with a toilet brush , diping the brush in muratic acid and omg them things shine like noone elses business, and so far (past 3-4 years) the clear coating hasnt came off due to the acid wash

yea hopefuly because tommrow im installinga brand new 250 amps excessive amperage alt and i currently have 5 batterys in the back and one in the engine compartment all running off a current 50 amp alt lol with no problem yet but ill have a large ass 250 amp alt tommrow and will invest in a isolator if i need one as well , would be nice to hear the bottom line from the "pro" aka meade :^

i realy dont know if you need one but if anything a isolator isnt that expensive to buy new, and it surely wouldnt hurt anything to have

from what i understand is they are used when someone plays their system with the car off to prevent the system from draining the main battery dead and thus you being unable to start the car, it allows the batterys (extra ones) to recive a charge from the alt. but does not allow the battery in front of the isolator to be drained

well i dont have the funds to do bags and all that good stuff nor would i put out the money on my van ....lol but when i have my complete system, all batterys, subs amps and all of my work tools in the van, my van rides dirty lol real dirty, the rear is squated about 4 inches and the front is almost to the top of the tire and the rubber bumps on some arm dealing with the hub and steering is bottomed out (one of the rubber bumps is broken into 3-4 pices and missing a big chunk) the van is a 1980 ford econline e100 work model van, i work out of it and have all my tools in it and i compete out of it and my system is in it as well... what can i do to raise my front to a good and safe height and raise the rear as well so its not so ghetto lookin ? the front has coils, with shock asst. the rear is leaf spring with shocks comin from mid van angled down to the axle i will not use them lugs that hicks put in the coils to jack it up and wont use the shackel lowering or raisen things for the rear.. any other options i can use that can possibly affordable

the bolt thing is nice for sure, esp how you have it done, the brass lookes nice and performs well, mainly like the idea for my current install my subs are dual 4 and i change ohm loads when i do spl or if im doing music, so i could do 4 bolts per sub ao i can easily change the ohm load without pulling a sub or anything just crossing or uncrossn a wire via outside the box and still have it look pimp and clean....great idea, even tho im sure its a old trick with a new twist i havent seen it put to use in such a nice fassion untill now :^

2.5w x 17.5h x 14.5d port 2 is 17.5h x 6 deep L shape i used the re calculator but found out that it is way way off IMO i am looking for daily driver with a high spl and bad ass bass boxing , so i need it tuned low, but still capable of doing a nice spl number (spl is not important) but winning in bass boxing is hope i made some sence i decided to keep my 12 10"s instead of selln em , i want to reinstall my box but do my box different before i put it back in (IE) it has a huge ass port i can climb off in, with all 12 subs on the face i still have a 14w x 30H port and i want to close it up or properly tune it for bass boxing, total air space as of now is 19.5cf without port consumption, the depth of the box from back of face to front of back wall is 24d x 24 w then the box takes on a angle all the way to the passenger side in which its only 12 or so deep, what would be a recomndable port size to tune my box too, i can cut the side off and shorten the box or just make a new face either way any mods to the box is simple due to it being out of the van ....

lol bass boxing at that level hasnt done it to me lol , i had a girl friend that was in a car reck before we got to gether and he upper jaw got shatterd in 1000's of little pices and they took all of her top teeth out (only like 3 were left that werent broke) and she had a top plate denture, and when she took em out i knew what was up then and it wasnt bad at all, no teeth scrape was awsome :^

i wouldnt waste the time with a bag, i mean youre getin head, you shouldnt see her face at all only her forhead and back of her head, and when youre done if you do it rite and dont forwarn her and shoot a nasty wadd down her throat shell jump up with her hand over her mouth to keep from barfn on ya so you wont have to see the sunken lips and jagged gums from where her teeth use to be, so i say once again and urge you as well give it a try and not to knock it before you have it tried lol

getin head from a chick with no teeth is awsome :^ well worth the time you have to wait for her to get her glass with water to put er teeth in just to see how it is, i highly recomend it

yea just the mid with the tweet mounted in the middle (unremoveable) the comps i can get but are a little harder to get and the prices sometimes change

how do you "mod" an amp yourself? take it to a tv repair place that works on all kinds of electronics and tell them to mod it? to go down to a lower ohm and all that or is it something you remove and replace in the amp easily?

what are them boomerang lookin things on the top of them limos and conversion vans? arent they just disquised ant. for the tvs?

lol amen to that one, thats why this new mystery wall im going to build in the next weeks is going to be tuned around the mid 30's so i can play any thing i want and still have a nice ear shattering burp out of as well but still have my subs in one pice when all is said and done

not bs but most on burps mine was a 51hz burp, and many of the others, music wise i can do 150 on music but my install is not a normal install either but you can call it bs all you want, i see it almost every other weekend in panama city at the shows there .....

im sorry for the massive failure there ...... but i walled off my econline work van (see attaced pictures) and put 2 cheap cvr 15's in the wall tuned it around 40 hz and i only had 1 amp a kole 3000D @ 12volt with car off, power wire was 8ga, speaker wire was 16 ga remote wire and i busted out a 148.7 so i know with one amp per sub, and proper power wire and speaker wire i could have eaisly done 150+ so its all in the design, i know people with 2 12's in blasers doing 155 on the dash legal so it may be time consumeing but its not that hard with the proper box and power as well
