its the new mojo's....i loved the way they sounded pro's? cons?(if any) what subs would you say are comparable to them?

well today at school my friend brought his explorer into the shop for an oil change....i could help but notice a huge "M" on his back window and knew what it was when i saw it. hes got 2 15" memphis mojo's and 2 MC2000D's powering them. his shit was slappin hard as hell. i have never heard memphis subs before and was thoroughly impressed by them. one of the loudest setups with 2 15's ive heard next to btls... what would you say are comparable subs to the mojo's...do a lot of people run them? what do you guys think about them in general...worth the money?

i know you seem like your stuck on jl, but you should brows a few other brands as well....explore all your choice before you decide. *DC, Fi, *** etc...*

i would say type r's would be the "better sub" they probably take better to more power and could, like Bangin Caddy said, get louder than the cvr's w/less power and in the right box.

stick wit the 4 12" type r's then. they have more potential than the l7's IMO. L7's just dont cut it for me anyway. and if your trying to stay around 100 bucks a sub good luck....i dont know too many subs for that price, unless they are used.

find out if you can...thats really the only way anybody can make suggestions on other 12's that would work in that box.

the microsoft points are for the xbox 360 console. you can use them to download game addons.

thanks for all the input guys. i have no clue how he re-wired the subs but i think he was pullin way too much for some reason. i rewired them to a 4 ohm load on the amp and everything is working fine now...no headlight dimming no shutting off no nothing. and they actually sound better since they are getting clean power now.

another question....would it be better to get another factory style battery from gm and run two stock batterys or to just replace the stock one with a yellow top?

it was installed almost a year ago but they were only gettin 250 up until about a week ago when all these "problems" came about.

okay, well he doesnt listen to well. when i took the truck back over to his house to get my car back he calls me a couple minutes ago and says...now the subs are startin to smell like ass why are they smellin. i tell him cuz he's burnin up the voice coils and hes like what are you talkin about....but honestly...i dont see why the coils would be burning up off of the pdx amp. could they be smelling like that from the lack of voltage too?
