I am confused on what I should do at this point. The 10's hit for what they are, It's just not enough for me. I really dont want to yank out the rear seats just yet. I forget the size of the box. I will call him later and find out. Yeah, he already had the 12's. That is basically a throw down box until the holidays pass. It will be walled soon. I will start a build thread so stay tuned. All of his systems have been big. In his other expedition he had 8-12's, then 6-15's. In his F150 he had 12-12's. I cant wait till we get started on it. I'm sure he will chime in sooner or later.

This is my homeboys expedition. He is running 4-12" pioneer premiers and a punch T3000.1. All of the electrical is stock...for now.

Ok, 4-15's so I have plenty of room. To be honest, I would rather just keep the 1000.1 since I just got it and find some 15"s that it would push good. I'm thinking about the 15" CVR's? What do you guys suggest?

I am looking at picking up 2 of these 1200.1 kicker amps locally. Any advise on how many subs I can run with 2 of these? My current system is in my sig and it aint doing it! Time for bigger things....

Our 10yr old son: a gas powered baja scooter, rockband 2 set, mp3 player, stereo, smackdown 2009 and other small items. Wife: A floor standing slate waterfall, hair stuff and some other things. My parents: Kodak 10.1mp camera, dallas cowboys clock. Inlaws: Digital picture frame, perfume. We have a ton of stuff as well for our nephews/neices. I probably wont get anything because my wife said I have bought my own gifts. I told her all I bought was a new radio, 4 CVR 10's, 2 kicker 200.2 amps, kicker 1000.1 amp, and 2 sets of kicker 6.5 door speakers. I mean, is that alot or what? HAHA

The prefab box was tuned to 42hz and dropped off at 30. I forget how deep the port is. Also, what would make 2 of the subs get hotter than the others? I can touch the caps and feel the warmth, the other 2 are cold. The 2 on the left are a couple weeks older than the ones on the right. I called kicker today and the guy said maybe they are getting signal from the amp first before the other 2? Is this even possible?

That was the plan originally, but a few people said the 10's facing back along with the port would hit harder. Maybe I'm just expecting too much from 10's? The prefab box I had was 2.0cf per sub making it 4cf total. I swear it would hit a lower note. The box we built is right at 6cf total. I'm thinking it's too small? Should I try some polyfill and see what happens? From this To this

I ended up getting a kicker 1000.1 yesterday. Big improvement overall, but is just seems like something isn't right. I think it's a little louder than the 2 10's I had orginally and the 400 watt mtx. But now running 4 10's and alot more power, I think it should hit harder than what it is. Any ideas?

Yeah, I know I need more power. Hopefully I can get something this week.

Would the box or port being to big/small cause my subs to pop? It does it on 2,3, or all 4 subs. It's mainly on the low notes.
