  1. Can someone with a port calculator please figure out a square port size for a box thats 12.98 cu. ft. Inside box dimensions: L- 43.25" H- 32.21875" D- 18.75" Total= 15.12 cu. ft. Sub displacement= .88 cu. ft. Brace & 45's displacement= 1.2536 cu. ft. I would like it to be tuned to 34-37Hz -Thanks
  2. Looked good man. Nice Jeep! Jeeps FTW For some reason it made me laugh watching that duck look like he was trying to get off of there but was traped at the end, lol.
  3. Just wondering what can I use to bond the 2 ends together. I am gunna get this stuff for my trunk http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ItemBro...ID:100000163411 cuz my weatherstripping is old and it leaks. Oh, and btw...ive already tried the dealership but it was discontinued cuz I got an '86.
  4. Thx for ur input...i will be ordering an hc600 today
  5. Alright, so ive spent alot of money and now im tryin to save as much as I can on the rest of the stuff I need....so I figured i'd either get 1 kinetic HC800 for the back or 1 HC600. Would either one be good enough?...im kinda leanin towards the HC600 cuz it cost less and it weights less(so maybe I can save a few bucks on gas )
  6. thanks...ur so nice Im sorry that im needy, I like looks and performance at the same time...If I had the loudest system in the world(it'll never happen, but if I did) and it looked like sh!t, I would tear it out.
  7. Just curious....umm why did the port area shrink from 213 sq in to 142 sq in? Is it just because a smaller box would need less port area?
  8. Just curious....umm, why did the port area shrink from 213 sq in to 142 sq in? Is it just because a smaller box would need less port area?
  9. I got 2 Cerwin vega 1200D amps for the subs and a Cerwin vega 400 watt 4 channel for my speakers
  10. Good point...now im confused cuz I got 2 boxes and im unsure of which one to do But my wall isnt going to be for numbers...I just want it to be loud and deep for daily drivin...so which box should I go with?
  11. Ok...I have an optime red top under the hood right now and I am going to need a battery for the back. So what I am wondewring is what kind of battery to get. should I go with another optima in the back or should I get a kinetic? Theres only one condition tho...I only wanna spend around $200 So here are the combinations I have come up with...buy 1 optima(red or yellow top) so that I have 2 optimas, or buy 1 kinetic HC1800 and have an optima up front and a kinetic in back, or I could get 2 Kinetic HC800's and put one up front and one in back Which would be the best to get out of these?
  12. Thank you so much....ur a life saver I have a question tho...would it be alright to have the port on the top of the wall? It would be set up just like 00sdime00's wall in his truck except the subs would be in a "v" shape instead of a "^" shape. Im pretty sure i can make it so the port would still be 4" x 35.5" too.
  13. thx alot man....i really need em cuz i wanna start sumthin tomorrow
  14. Cerwin vega enclosure spec says they can be in a 3.5 cu ft box each so I figured 4 cu ft wouldn't hurt. well then ill make the box smaller. it'll be 12 cu ft after port and sub displacement. So if I could get another port calculation that would be great. -thx
  15. I want to build a wall in my car but before I start i need a port. The wall will be 46"-L 37"-H 24"-D so it'll be 20.5 cu. ft. It will be for 4 15" cerwin vega V-max subs and I would like it to be tuned to 34-37 Hz. Im not going to compete with it, Im just playin music. So if someone could figure out the sq. in. and length of a port for me it would be greatly appreciated. The port cant be longer than my depth tho if thats possible
  16. Do it jeff, Ill buy 2 sheets of wood for you so that u can have more money for fiberglass
