  6. Well im building or should i say i built a box for my friend who ordered a FI Bl 15. Its 3.5 cu ft tuned to 35hz. Im learning as i go so any advice you have is welcome. Im always looking for ways to make things easier and better. Well here are the pics. Some are of a box i just finished. My new toys
  7. Ok so tried this and suprisingly my volts stayed at 14V with everything on(ive upgrade the big3 and im running a kinetik under the hood FYI). Then i turned the volume all the way up and the volts only dropped to 13.3v. So what does all this mean for me?
  8. I highly recommend this woofer. Even over the fi. Not to say that fi isnt a fine product cuz it is but if you want a sub that sounds great and can get loud then this is what you want. I have a TC-3000 and i love it.
  9. What i did was made a box. Then i made three holes for the ports. Then i took some pvc pipe couplings and measured the depth of it. I took that number and added the thickness of the wood to it. Then i took a 10ft pvc pipe and cut the length i had just calculated. I put the coupling on the small piece i cut out and stuck in the hole. The port sits flush with wood.(ports are shooting outside of the box) Then i took the total port length for my ports and subtracted what i had already cut and put that on the other end of the coupling. I now got a box tuned to 30Hz. Then when i compete i just switch the ports out with the shorter ports i have. Theres prolly an easier and better way but this works.
