  1. ive looked all over the forum, and cant find any actual topics about this amplifier except for one build, but the amplifiers werent discussed at all, and only 1-2 videos but the quality of them are really terrible. i know that steg is originally an overseas (euro) amplifier company, but there is a USA division. whats everyone's opinions on them? links, vids, opinions on their user interface? i know you can plug a PC into them but for what purpose? does it have a built in adjustable crossover on top of their low/high pass filters? are they glitchy? are they more commonly used in mids/highs? because i was looking to run their K 2.03 or 2.04 models. im comparing the 2.03 or 2.04 to a ddz1a or T2500 (non-CP) i was originally going for the DDz1a, but after some research they have a very slow response time for an amplifier, roughly 6.8-8ms. for a $1500 price tag, im still comparing. the T2500 can be had for around $750-900 a piece which is the more economical of the three. but would like to hear anything anyone knows. thanks ahead of time, -matt
  2. how many ppl think that each state will start to cut down big-time on the limits of where and when you can play systems, or ban it all together to competitions only like NHRA/IHRA competition vehicles? i have a feeling its gonna cut down alot more than what it is now, being as almost every state is broke as fuck and looking for any excuse to get cash. someone mentioned that in FL a random civilian can report you, which is pretty gay b/c if they dislike rap/hip-hop they may complain just for the hell of it. discuss :hairtrick:
  3. yeah this is correct, same thing i got out of it anyway. b/c if you do it properly you get to a step where its a-b=0 in the algebra which would make the statement 1=0 which is common sense based - not true. so its a derivative question 2*1 = 1, where the 1's come from (2-1)=1 ---------- (2-1)=1 which equals 1/1=1. and we all know 2*(1/1)=2, and 1*(1/1) = 1
  4. x3 wonder what the designers smoked when they designed this? cant be the same ppl that designed the 06-08 models.
  5. a smarter question with a little common sense, would be if bigpimpin could hook you up over the forum. i mean, since he did make it. and you did ask here. get my drift?
  6. too bad N64's dont have servers, id so play you on multiplayer right about now lol anyone remember the freaky ass grave-stone level with all the rubbish? and the street level thats loooooooooong like a maze. it took me forever to beat that street level in time attack mode lol, i even remember the cheat for it - double rocket launchers. thats how many times it took me to get it haha
  7. holy fuck this topic has over 91 pages to read. FUCK THAT.
  8. yeah ive got mine too lol. i even think i have the memory card for the N64 where i last left off with it. its amazing how ahead of the time that game really was for when it came out. i dont remember the graphics being that blocky but it was such an awsome game. i remember the dam, the cradle, the jungle, the snow-radar level was my favorite - the one that was outside with the trailers all over hte place. so cool lol
  9. such good good memories come from this video. i barely remembered this level but i beat this whole game and unlocked all of the cheats with the time-restraints. i deleted the file and even started over i think, but never got that far again. i also loved the 1 on 1 with my younger brother in multiplayer. id dare say one of the best games of all time. memory lane
  10. i started back last wed. this is my last semester for double assosciates degrees. i walk in may, take a couple more classes in the spring and fall of this year to play catchup for 4 year university requirements, then off to university i go for another 2-3 years lol. im thinking i might take a break and work a year. this school thing can get old and expensive real quick.
  11. thanks for the depths. i didnt use the links that kranny posted, i used google and it still didnt work for me. 1 sec ill try it without google and see if it works. yeah no luck. well this blows, glad im not the only person though. wonder what the issue is?
  12. thank you very much yeah the Z series is out of my pocket range lol, the subs are also too deep too. so 35 or the 95 series. i figured the 95 series would be really close to what im looking for and designing around, but it had been so long since i looked at the DD website for specs; i couldnt remember. the 35 series being able to take that kind of juice is surprising, definately gonna look into this option alot closer. do you think you could give me the full depths from the mounting surface to motor of the 35 and 95? thanks again! -matt
  13. all 12" models that have a high RMS rating. preferrably in the range of 1800+ speakers must have a dust cap/cone - no flat designed surfaces. cubic displacements around .18 for each sub (if possible, if its not thats alright) max wattage i dont care for. coils need to be able to do 1ohm a piece or 2ohm a piece. i cant remember if their website says that info or not though. thanks man i really appreciate it.
  14. i need all the RMS, cubic displacements, etc for their models and was going to check out their site. can anyone else see the product list and information for each of their speakers in the car audio section of their webpage? they seem to have taken all of it down, even the links to it in other sections are taken down. all they have left are pictures of their history and that really isnt going to do me any good. the direct purchase links and order forums arent working either on their website, anyone know whats going on? it might be my internet browser, just figured i'd ask and see just to make sure. also if anyones got a chart with all the info id greatly appreciate it lol. -matt
  15. +4 thats the place my bros civic got broken into. first time since the vypyr install. i try to park in areas AWAY from college campus places, underlit areas, etc.
  16. you know the saying, haters gonna hate.. its a forum. im sure if you used the search button and didnt turn up anything, then someone would be glad to help you. i havent done so myself.... but im damn sure that question has PROBABLY been asked before, and instead of asking a repeat topic that the older guys will mock - just browsing the forums in the search would probably let you find something.. if you cant find anything, and mention so then im sure you would have gotten a much more chill response. -matt
  17. was wondering if i could please have mine switched over to: glpg80 thanks ahead of time. -matt
  18. that partnership is an auto-generated email going to people who get a certain amount of views each month and constantly meet quota. its also a crock of shit, it deals with advertisement and releasing videos and you getting a small cut of the pie based on the traffic of you and/or your channel. ignore it. you will get the bad end of the deal, and its auto sent anyway. nothing any one person sent you. as for the youtube account you need to contact them about it. you can only have one account, but you can have multiple channels under one account which can look and seem totally different from one another or look exactly alike, depending on how you set them up. the account info you have no control over, and it probably deals with the switchover google is trying to force. they are no longer supporting the yahoo database login information and making the gmail logins required. so if you dont have a google gmail account you probably will have problems logging in...but other times you might be able to log in with the old youtube sign-in and get a warning about the switch over. just email them and get it straightened out. worst comes to worst, make a gmail account using your youtube login information and then try it. that will probably fix it all. -matt
  19. +2 top movie of all time in my books. it was an emotional rollercoaster unlike nothing else out there. its like taking titanic, abyss, and terminator II and wrapping it all up into a single movie and then perfecting it over 15 years. cameron even designed and invented the 3D camera technology to film it. i actually feel sorry for other movies that are out now, they all seem like wastes of time compared to avatar. -matt
  20. sup guys. currently im getting my subs back from my bro's car when he goes off to college. basically its nothing major, just your average noob SPL setup, so dont hate pls lol its 2x alpine R's in a prefab ported box, i think its tuned pretty high. id want to say 36-37Hz. right now ive got one punch 1000 running 4G wiring. since my bro decided to give me my subs back (was a high school graduation present for him to have) i was wondering, considering space for the subs to breathe, would you recommend the big III, two punch 1000's and just running each mono to each alpine i have now at 2ohm? or, do you think i could get four type R's to pound off of two punches slaved at 1ohm? heres the real kicker, i have an s10. so in all actuality i might be getting a car to put this in. i dont have the balls to do a blowthrough. this is strictly for SPL on music and one last thing, battery recommendations for running two 1000's and possibly a simple 4 channel install? my skills include heavy electronics background, but not too heavy in car-audio. more pc's based. welding i can do, im more of an engine person. math i can do, woodworking skills i can get help with. just asking for some guidance at this point as to what would make more common sense. thanks ahead of time, anything or any suggestions (even for a car to put this in) are appreciated. -matt
  21. 11 months at best buy. RF punch amps dirty cheap with my employee discount lol. i got lucky, they had just done a managment switchover at my store. so everyones got a head on their shoulders. so far, so good. i try my best, cant really complain too much. but hey it beats working the furniture factory again with fibers in your lungs and being sick all the time working 6am-5:30pm 6 days a week ;o
  22. the f3 point is measured like 3dB@40hz for bass notes. it means that at a 40Hz will actually be playing 3dB lower. with vented boxes you also have rolloff included which the f3 point doesnt mention. -matt
