    How old is the tire? Like the date it was made. Should say DOT then some numbers beside it..whats the numbers in the circle.

    oooo ..I thought only mdf could do that. Well birch it is..if I can find it at a reasonable price. How far apart do you cut the slits. I can kind of see it in the wood..looks to be about 3/8 - 1/2" apart?

    My port is going to be 15"x3" opening..it's not real big so I thought maybe it would be sturdy enough by itself..I'll add fiberglass if I need to. ...also I am going to make it curve so that's why I didn't want to go with birch.

    My main question is, will it hurt to use 1/2 mdf" for the port? People don't use it for boxes because it flexes ..will it be the same scenario with the port.

    haha...I was just wondering if it's a must to build ports out of 3/4" too. I know I wont be saving much weight..but when the port is 22" long and solid 3/4" it weighs quiet a bit.

    Do ports have to be built of 3/4"..the same as boxes. Or can I just use 1/2"..trying to cut down on weight.

    See it looks blue in pics without the flash I think. That's how I got mixed up before. Shit looks great...Can airbags be wrapped or painted? I always wondered about that...mine split in the middle when they are deployed so I wasn't sure if I could do anything to them at all.

    Some reason that suede looks blue on that center console..so it it a gray/charcoal color? What's the name of the color..I have been looking for something just like that on that handle.

    Yeah I'm in hickory, but you're not are you? If you meet me in hky I'll do $15. I needed a 150a, but already bought a kicker one with a fuse holder...Not sure how well it will do though in the engine bay since it doesn't have any seals on it (kicker holder).
