  1. TTT Sold entire interior except dash and bezel, sold entire front clip including hood, sold the doors and panels, STILL have motor and trans and listed them down to 700 for the freshly rebuilt trans and 600 for the motor with 123,xx on it! WTF why is nobody buying?? SOMEBODY needs these...........
  2. I already rewired the remote wire to a relay on 15 amps for the 4 amplifiers. Also the stinger pop stopper didnt fix it so I returned it. It has to be an RCA with a bad connection somewhere, theres alot of problems with the wiring of this system, in time im going to have to rip it all out and do it myself so I know its perfect
  3. I still gotta do that just havnt thought about it. Iv been selling little things off the truck, but none of the higehr dollar parts which is frustrating. Still LOTS of parts for sale people, locals come get it!
  4. If only you were closer id love to get that tailgate Yeah id imagine shipping that wouldnt be cost effective lol. Im so surprised nobody local has picked that up. it has one crack int he bondo, but sanding it down for 30 seconds would fix it, its very small I have never shipped. Do I take it off, package it and then take it to ups and see how much it is? I'll give you a great deal on it, just pm with what I have to do, and make me an offer
  5. I have already checked the different rcas and they were fine. Im going to try this http://www.darvex.com/store/pc/Stinger-Amplifier-Pop-Stopper-55p9.htm
  6. Mine its all the highs popping, but I have an indash so no need for a high low.... there must be another way. 2marro im probably gonna start tearing it appart to see if its that damn illumination wire.... but theres a good chance that has nothing to do with it. In some older gms it dosnt matter, and others it does, but this is a newer truck so i dunno.....
  7. I have a 2004 silverado with 4 kicker amps, and hella speakers. Whenever I turn off the truck, all the highs make a super loud pop. I know on older gms if the illumination is hooked up it can cause that, but not in all models. Im not sure if thats the case in 2002+ gms. I have an older kenwood indash that has a brain hidden somewhere in the truck, so its not as easy as just pulling the deck to check for a wire. Im wondering of other things to try before I rip it appart. the grounds look good, so I dont know..... Help?
  8. :drinks: I hope soon we can get your truck on the ground

  10. I hope you are talking if a shop does it, Holy bejeezus... I'm in the wrong line of work... I DID used to do this for a living. Its time consuming, the parts are expensive and it needs to be done right or it will be a holy terror. The parts alone can vary by thousands and thousands of dollars, then the different ways to bag take different amounts of time to do, and theres lots of extra one off kind of things to add to any bagged truck that also add up. Thats just the nature of minitruckin, it isnt cheap. But its very well worth it. My daily driver is bagged and lays frame on 24s, and my project is doored and well, check out my project thread its kind of strange Oh I've seen it... I'm loving it... I know the price isnt cheap, and needs to be done right, but He can get parts cheaper than 5k... Thats all I was sayin... I know there's tons of different shit and parts and things you can get and do, and you're right, its not cheap... I'm getting ready to redo mine, and add some UCA, and redo all the bushings, ball joints, and tie rod ends... Haha yeah it is expensive but so worth it IMO. Parts if you collect over time dosnt seem nearly as steep, but once you look at how much each individual item costs it racks it up fast!! But once you have so many of your hard earned dollars at work you appreciate what you have much better as well. UCAs, bushings, ball joints and tie rod ends alone is several hundred bucks, but it comes with the territory. BUT IT IS SOO WORTH IT!!!!!! :drinks:

  12. between like 5-7 depending on options. Bottom of the barrel bag job is not a good idea, you need to be financially ready to commit before starting, you cant half ass it or pay the price later. Parts alone are much cheaper, but it takes many hours to do everything and it isnt free unless your doing it yourself.
  13. Thanks Rob. We could def talk.... also there are a few local shops that do it as well, not really that good in Sacramento it self, but in neighboring areas, but they are very very expensive. You ca always call around, but first you need to decide exactly what you want to do. I specialize in trucks laying frame, laying rocker, and laying door. Primarily do trucks like yours that just want to lay frame on big wheels.
  14. Any questions just post up, but def go over every inch of air on that thing, from the wires to the fittings and everything in between. Its good your taking your time, that will make this much better in the long run! :drinks: And Ben is one of the head guys at Streetmetal, and hes always down to help people out
  15. You have ALOT more stuff you need to look at on your truck before getting any more answers from users. First everybody is right, you need for tank volume. Come more tank volume, you need more muscle pumping air into it. Your other problems lifting, leaking, etc, leave me to think you need to go over everything bit of air on this truck before you start trying to fix little things. Get to the bottom of how they plumbed this, because you told me there was a single 3/8in airline plumbed to 4 fill valves, and thats REALLY bad... If you were in Sacramento Id go over your whole truck and fix it for a few bucks, but your on the other side of the country. I would get a good friend who knows bags to go over the whole truck with you, since you are new to bags. For bags to be safe, they need to be hooked up right, and you need to make sure the truck is operating correctly before you drive it Streetmetal Ben!! Welcome to SMD man!
  16. theres a place a few blocks from me that rents them for 39 bucks a day, ima hit that up
