I have a stock 115 amp alt and after I did the big 3 I went from 13.7volts at idle to 14.3 volts....

So you have a budget of 600 dollars for 1-2 subs an amp to power the subs, a component set, and amp to power said component set, as well as the wiring for said equipment??? Do you already have a deck???

Just add on to the factory wiring, mine goes to the fuse box as well, but I just ran the 1/0 straight from the alt to the battery....its simplest to just leave the factory wiring connected. Edit: Just really read your post, you are fully correct in the way you did it

Are you sure they dont make a H.O. alt for your car, email Mechman or DC Power, they have a shit ton more alts than what is listed on there sites.... Edit:Also if your looking to rebuild the stock alt which isnt quite as good as a HO alt but better than the stocker, I wouldnt just go to a regualar mechanics shop I would look into someone who specializes in alts, also you might be able to have Mechman or DC Power to rewind your alt and put an overdrive pulley on your stocker to get more out of it.

I would of been able to send you an AQ one, since when I got my amp I had a kicker amp before and the gain cord worked perfectly with the new amp, so I still have the one that came with the AQ amp

Will trade Kinetic HC2000 plus 40-50 dollars for sub, both people will pay there respectable items....
