    2.5 per sub won't hurt them. and they will sound decent but that 3.5 will give you the lows that you bought 15's for.

    yeah. there are different types but if you look at this: http://gotcmt.sectorlink.org/eshop/product...51tbandbass.jpg don't laugh, just giving you a visualization. you could do the same as that but build the whole trunk into a bandbass and then you could do one big slot port that goes through the rear deck.

    you could completely do away with the rear deck and turn the whole trunk into a bandpass box with the port being the rear deck.

    to me the idea of a ported box is to get the waves off of the subs and out the port at around the same time. stuffing only slows down those waves. the only thing i use it on is small sealed boxes.

    it does and it doesn't. it makes the subs think the box is bigger because it slows down the air movement in the box but it also slows down the movement of the waves coming out of the port. i never really cared for it in ported boxes. works magic in sealed though.
