  1. i'll try it out. thanks. it's really bright outside today and the door was open that's why it's glared so bad. heres some pictures from the driver seat.
  2. thanks man. i think i'm gonna try and attempt some fiberglass kick panels like Q-logic has so this was the warm up for that. it's not perfect but it's not bad for my first fiberglass job.
  3. it sticks out because the lower dash it at such an angle that it has to stick out so i can see it from where i'm sitting. i'll take a pic while i'm sitting so you can see what i'm talking about.
  4. i fiberglassed this stinger voltage meter into my fuse cover. i only have one picture of the build up the rest are completed pictures. here it is before the bondo, sanding and painting. i did it yesterday. took me about 6 hours from start to finish. finished.
  5. if you wire them to 4 ohms then the amp will run 4 ohms if you wire them to 2 ohms then the amp will run 2 ohms whatever resistance you wire it to that is how much resistance there is.
  6. what kind of amp are you using? if you're looking to get a lil louder then put an aeroport in that box.
  7. talk with this guy. hes got the same equipment. i'm just going from what i know and have seen.
  8. if you want to "beat" on them every day then get aluminum. if you put 1000 RMS give or take a few hundred watts then copper should do you fine.
  9. if you want to be able to push it hard get the aluminum. takes more beating
  10. if your going to be running the AQ 2200D at 1 ohm then get the aluminum coils.
  11. those are cone area numbers not wattage.
  12. if you have the room then just double everthing you have now. 4 12's is a decent amount of cone area. CONE AREA 4 12's = roughly 452 2 18's = roughly 500 would be way cheaper to just get two more twelves and another amp then to upgrade to 18's and get amps meade's 4 18's = roughly 1000 and lots of money, time and knowledge
  13. jealous. camaro's are so easy to get loud.
  14. try turning the ring terminal and make it parallel with the bars and it'll sit on the body
  15. depends. without that ring terminal there, does the washer tighten on top of the bar? if so try to find another ground. or at least go get another washer and put the ring terminal between two washers, then tighten it down. if that ring terminal is not sitting on the metal then you are relying on that bolt to get your current grounded. bolts don't always have the best grounding characteristics.
  16. sounds like internal ground on headunit.
  17. is the terminal ring between the bars and the bolt head? if so thats not a good ground.
  18. nice. thats exactly what i wanted to hear. ^^^^^
  19. r they pretty close in price to the FI BL?
  20. are your rca's ran close to your power wire? if so put em on opposite side of car wrap a wire around rca's and ground it. if neither work its most likely internal in your headunit. r u running a 4 or 2 channel amp?
  21. don't wana clip. just saying if i wanna turn gains up i want it to be able to take a lil bit of clipping.
