The l7s definitely get loud but if you want a quality sub that will last I would go with the Btl. Kapton coil formers warp when they get hot when aluminum only expands and contracts. I had l7s for less than a month and sold them to buy the fis. I will never look back either.

I realize that the enclosure can make or break a sub. The only reason I ask is that the lvl4 has higher bls and lower mms than the bl and from what Iv read that means that the sub would perform better in a spl class. Just tryin to get my shit right here. Im not trying to brand knock or compares companies. Im just using two good subs as an example to try and learn to read this shit.

No offense but its people like you who stray others away from learning when all some one is trying to do is expand there knowledge. May not be useful to you but Iv been trying to learn how to read the parameters of a sub to determine what it is best suited for. No one held a gun to your head and asked you to post something ignorant.

Iv been lookin at the dc level 4s compared to the fi bls and strickley parameters the dcs seem to be a louder sub. If it was going in a daily ground pounder which sub would be louder. Im tlaking strickly out put. Fuck the sq factor in this scenario.

From what I hear the sae-1200d does pretty well on stock electrical. With the money you save buying that you could get the Q. I think it would hold up to the power alot better than the ssd would and sound better and louder while doing it.

lol This is why I have became a sundown fanboy. All there shit is rated at 12volts. So what you see is actual rms of what you get plus more. zx2500.1 are nice but a power hog and more power than your going to need for your ssd. If your going to spend that much money on an fi sub why not get the Q18?
