  1. Anyone actually wired to .5 ohm on the NS1v2 tell me what the current draw is? Trying to figure out what to fuse the amp to when wired at .5 ohm. I'm sure it's more that the recommended 650 amps @ 1 ohm.
  2. Did not know that. I looked on their website, but didn't see anything of the sort. Are they something that you would have to e-mail them about?
  3. Anyone have some laying around they are willing to part with?
  4. Same here... 4 12 type R's, 2 RF T-10001bd's. Cant beat em for the price.
  5. My apologies. I wasn't trying to come off rude, and like I said, It is a very good looking sub.
  6. It is a very nice looking sub. If I wasn't married, I might swap mine out, too. Unfortunately, her word over rules mine.
  7. "There's no comparison what so ever. You're comparing a $400 sub to a $100 sub. I would hope that the level 4 xl is louder. Not to mention the Alpine has a 2" 4 layer coil compared to the DC's 3" 8 layer one. It's just not a very fair comparison is all I'm trying to get at. Both are very good woofers in their respected price and use of application range." Didn't even see this post. Glad someone else agrees. Looked at the pics, and I was like hell no... WTF. No comparison. Replied without reading all the other posts.
  8. What is the price difference between the two subs? Can they even really be compared? I run 4 type R's on two RF T10001bd's, and for the price the type R's are amazing.
  9. I am looking to buy 2 wire cover plates to RF T10001bd's. Hit me up if you can help me out.

    Wtf Lol

lol that's hilarious. Where did you find that?
  11. I am so sorry to hear that. I lost my step mother and my father at 16. I know what you are going through. I wish there were words to heal the wounds, but only time can help. I know you don't even know me, but I can relate. If you need someone to talk to on a personal level, please, by all means let me know. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
  12. Be careful what you put in the Tibby. I had 4 12 inch Alpine type R's and a fiberglass box in an 05 Tibby, and it busted the trunk latch on the inside, so my hatch wouldn't open. It did alot of other bad things to the car, like f***ed up the suspension, because the system was so freakin heavy. Dont think that car was meant to be loud, lol. Needless to say, I gave the car to the wife and bought an SUV. :hairtrick:
