    I guarentee that 4500 will give 5k+ watts at the right voltage, but the 3500 will put 4k + (with some voltage) on those lvl 4s and that would be perfect for some lvl 4's, but i bet they can take more than 1000 rms a piece. My .02

    The port going to each chamber in the back looks kind of small. How many cubes and what are the square inches of the port? Oh and nice use of glue excess for the win thats how i do mines

    I've been getting some good deals on some stuff too. Got 20 ft of 1/0 guage Stinger Power wire and 4 1/0 guage ring terminals for 50 bucks

    I think you should save up for however long it takes you to get a Kinetik Hc-600. Not more than 130 bucks and will keep your voltage up to keep your amp safe so itll last till 2010. Then when you have saved up enough get a larger battery.

    It would be about 1700-1800 watts nothing huge. I would keep every wire as short as possible.

    Thats what i thought, i am just trying to come up with a new amp rack when i upgrade my 4 channel, and the battery position is very important. But theres not a problem with grounding a distro block and then grounding the amps off that?

    re box calc doesnt take into account the displacements of the sub and double baffle, that could change the tuning by a significant amount. Let me handle designing the box you chill, k? k

    I cant imagine what that would feel like sitting in the front seat. Maybe i missed it but what are you running for mids and highs?

    no he doesnt have a sundown, my friend is getting a sundown 2000, rated 2000 watts at 12.8 volts i think. So about 14 volts would be 2500 watts? but hes gonna keep his stock alt.

    I have about 100-115 amp alt *not sure* My friends getting that Sundown 2000 and a RF 4 channel. Hes going to have optima in front Kinetik 1800 in back stock alt. So im sure youll be fine

    I would go kinetik in the back, an isolater isnt needed but i dont think its a bad or a good idea. Its your choice, and i have an optima in front and a kinetik in back. my voltage stays about 14 lowest 13.7-8 full tilt. But you cant go wrong with a kinetik in front and in back

    http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=13280 as for the battery isolater no you dont need it, it charges one battery at a time, i believe so its not a necesity. If you wanna charge your rear batt turn your system off and let your car run for a little bit.

    I would just run 1/0 guage all the way back to a distro block or battery (idk what you have) and from there run 4 guage. The 1/0 will let more POWA back. And for the ground, if you could ground it with 1/0 guage and run that to a distro block (or batt) and from there run 4 guage. Hope that helps

    I think im going to wait to see how my friends' turns out. If it does look for a lvl 4 xl 15 from me, with sub up port back.
