Maybe you should think about taking this "install" to a local shop and have it done there. Before you mess something up and you lose money.

It Works, but I heard something rolling around inside so i took the cover off and it was a capacitor. Since then i havent let it see power since. I talked to guy that "fixes" these locally and he says its an easy fix just needs some soldering and some new capacitors. I bought a new one so i dont need this. Ill let it go for cheap. Heres the capacitor and where it needs to go. Heres it with the cover on I have everything else for it. Knob sheat metal cover, but no manual or box. I bought it from a guy a couple towns over and didnt bother to ask for them. I know its dumb. Any ?'s pm me. 150 shipped OBO

Nice glad to hear it. Im glad i chose the fosgate amp and subs for my 1st system. I was standing in the store looking at prices and the sony's were cheaper but went with the fosgates. I'll never use another sub amp. Hopefully i can switch out the 4 channel to a fosgate.

With the car running i sit at about 14-14.1 volts. At full tilt on some Young Jezzy the lowest i have seen it go is 13.6-7. Is this ok?

Do they hit the lows. not LOW LOW. but around 25-30 htz? The box is about 4 ft cubed. with a 58 square inches of port. Tuned to about 30. It would be two 12's

Ok ill give it a try, and hopefully the thing im thinking of screwing it to is the chassis. I believe it is, i guess we will find out. Ill post when i have tryed it, and on that ICIXsound.com link, it said that this may not take away all of the noise even if this is the problem. But ill pray that it will or hello Kenwood

Do i have to ground it to the headunit, or can i just screw into the Chassis. Cuz i dont believe my head unit is ground directly to the chassis, but to the wire in the wire harness. Do i just have it on for a second or have it on there permanetly.
