yeah my 2600.2 is ruined but i still got 2400.2 i have a stock battery and a small cap. stock alternator 2001 monte carlo ss most of the time the volts are 12 and 13 but when i was playing hypnotized thats the only song i know of that dropped it to 8/9volts

my highs amp is a 1000 watt hitron some cheap amp,my highs arnt that good.. older pioneer 6x9 and almani 6x5 i have the bass down and treble down.

yeah it was bridged and it dropped to 8/9 volts oh well next time ill be more informed... i think i can only bridge it at 4ohms load with 2 subs not 3.but im not going to beat until i get a better power supply here's a website kranny gave me for my 2400.2 http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/PPI_PC2400.2/ ok so when bridging with any amp it cuts to ohm load in half?

the 3 speaker 2.67 ohm load worked well on the lower amp untill i put the bigger amp in and the amp messed up.. some one tells me that the bigger amp looked like its been wet in the past and that it is dirty inside. i had the speakers set up the same way on the smaller amp ((2400.2)) for a while n it did not mess up.... http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woof...e&amp_imp=5

i wired all 3 like in the parallel diagram. but i took out 1 sub and now theres 2 subs parallel

maybe i should just have the 2 subs in parallel instead of 3? im new to car audio... i used to have 1 shit amp to each sub for a long time and no problems..accept for the shitty quality =) so it wasnt that i wired wrong...or that i bridged?

this was my mistake... i got the wiring diagram from rockford fosgate wiring wizard. well i still have the 2400.2 PPI 500 rms..and im unsure of how to use it.. 3 sub or 2 sub..and how they need to be wired.. well ill let the experts on here give their opinions before i fuck something up..

well a few minutes ago i jumped the remote and the other amp i use for my highs is running off the same ground/power/remote and it still works ! i did not abuse the amp. and it was set right. i was running 3 rockford fosgate 12's on it.. 2 were DVC punch power 1000 RMS 2000 maxx power and 1 was punch Hx2 250-500rms and 1000 watts max power all 4 ohms.. the Amp is Precision Power 2600.2 Watts power class.. i also have a 2400.2 power class precision power which is not connected to the car. because i dont know if it will happen again..i bought each amp for 150$$ each from craigslist.

yeah its happened to me.where it got hot and the power cut off..only it wont turn on now...and i dont know why...i posted a thread.

well i was driving and my amp just cuts off..i didnt hear no wierd noises and it didnt smell burnt..and there was no smoke... no power or protection light turns on..wat does this mean? no wires were out or loose. no fuses broke. RCA are fine.i tried connecting the RCA from my highs to my bass.switched from the head unit as well.still nothing the amp for my highs still turns on (protection light turns on (red) then shortly the power light turns on (blue) dont know if thats normal. they are connected to the same ground/power/remote i looked in the back of my head unit and the remote is connected to the (blue) wire with a (white) stripe.the blue wire with a white stripe has (2) blue remote wires connected to it..is that normal? ive tried to reconnect the remote..and unhook the speaker wires.. disconnected everything and reconnected and still nothing..
