actually when i was testing on my lunch break i did everything with the truck off. i would unplug a light install a new fuse and turn the headlight switch on.

I could ground to the battery, don't really have a reason as to why i didn't. The factory fuse is 20A and the fuse that was in the harness is 20A. At lunch i did a once over the harness and everything looked ok but there is a plastic cover on Fords/Lincolns that i need to remove to get a good look at everything, so when i get off i will pull that off and check again. How can you tell if you have a bad ballast? On second thought though, i did try unplugging each light one at a time leaving the other plugged in and i got the same results so i don't think that's the case, unless they are both bad.

On my dads 00' navigator i installed some HID's about a month ago. Last night he said that his headlights, both high and low, went out. He has 9007 hi/low bulbs. they are run off of a wiring harness that i had to install. so the power goes right to the battery and the ground goes right to the body. the only connection between the HID's and the factory wiring is at the bulb plug on the passenger side. When installing these you have take one of the plugs that would originally plug into the stock bulbs and plug it into the wiring harness. I have tried unplugging each bulb leaving the other plugged on and every time i turn the lights on the fuse blows. if i disconnect both HID's then turn the lights on the fuse does not blow. I am at a loss here. To be clear the fuse that is blowing is the one that is inline with the wiring harness that i installed, not the factory headlight fuse. If you need more info to help me just ask, i cannot try anything till after i get off work but please if you have a suggestion throw it out there. Thanks

thanks guys, if anyone else has a suggested hypothesis throw it out there. basically we are going to create a circuit that will turn on a light and use different materials to complete the circuit. This way he can learn what conducts and what doesn't. but again i am just having a hard time helping him write the hypothesis.

we are gonna use copper, aluminum, wood, and plastic. Hes only in 5th grade (and no im not smarter) his Hypothesis only has to be one sentence/statement

Well i am tryin to help my son do a science fair project but i am terrible when it comes to putting things down on paper. The basis of the project is: What materials conduct and resist electricity. We have the whole project pretty much designed and laid out. Where we are having an issue is in writing the Hypothesis. I was never any good at this. If you dont know, a hypothesis is basically a " If i do____, Then______ will happen" Cause and effect. Anybody have an idea?

what i found that fixes it, well its not really a fix but its alot easier than renaming each song. Click properties then click the summary tab and where it has a 0 in the title box, just delete that then it will use the song name just like normal. so all i ended up doing was going into each track and deleting that 0 and everything was fine.

well im just gonna change each one, one by one. Thanks guys. if i click Properties, then Summary tab...the titles sure as hell say "0"

i can go thru and type each name one by one. the problem is i am going to have to listen to each song to identify it first, then try to find it on itunes and rename each song. but like i said i put like 10 other mixtapes on here with no prob so im not sure why all of a sudden these two are messed up. thanks tho

well i was trying to add some mixtapes to my ipod and i got about 10 or so done with no issues but i have two that are giving me some trouble. i have a screen shot of the songs in there folder with the names, track numbers and album title and a shot of what happens to them when i put them into itunes. all the song names are replaced with "0". The songs play fine but all the names are fucked up. whats up anybody know how i can fix this?

dont mean to jack, but do you need the High Strength or will the Multi Purpose work fine?

as you know now, the bulb type remains the same. Try DDM Tuning, lifetime warranty!
