I always end up watching his videos for the billionth time. the forum always trips me up to. -
hahahaha you would be the prime example.I tried looking at your build and had to give up after 40 or so pages. I like your stuff though. if anyone is confused just go look at the hoopty uninterrupted build log. has everything Steve just explained. ps steve uninturrupted is spelt with an e like uninterrupted.

agreed. those t1k's are so underrated. mine does about 1450 watts

haha damnit steve you beat me to it. if you look at my build log one of my upgrades is leather and suede seats from katzkins. oh well now I can see if I really want to save the money for them and see how they look in your hoe before I put them in mine. can't wait. hoe starting to feel old - new steering wheel new steering wheel getting old - new brakes new brakes getting old - get new seats I'm glad you are still pimping you tahoe out

Hearing Impairment
thehoe92 replied to Noobtastic14's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
I had the same exact thing for 2 weeks. I was at the sutter express and they told me to get debrox which is an ear wax softener. soften the ear wax for a few days then use the ear dropper to flush out the softened ear wax. that won't take care of it completely but it helps to not have build up. my ears switched from ear to ear being deaf one day in the left one day in the right. you just have to wait a while and take it easy on the bass. it goes away. I thought the same thing thinking I would have to sell my sub so early in life because I would not be able to hear it but it gets better don't worry bro. -
As I remember from a previous thread the RF knob is a bass frequency boost. That is why there are two knobs on the controller. The first knob is in essence the gain of the amp. When you want to boost the level of a certain frequency you turn the first knob up. The second knob is the frequency you want to boost... higher frequencies are more towards the right; lower towards the left. If I read right on Rockford Fosgate website the knob the comes with the 3Sixty.2 brings the frequencies that you called bass in the program up making the bass more prevelant. So in order from what I have gathered... Steve turns the highs up on his head unit. He then sends the signal from the head unit to his amps to make the bass a little stronger. He raises the level more with the 3Sixty.2 and finally the boost which is "the button" that makes everything go dumb! I could be off a little but this is mainly what he does. He has two controllers. One has one knob (3Sixty.2) and one has 2 knobs (master/slave RF boost knob). Hope this helps

unless they have been to SMD they don't know what bass is name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">

Meade's Tahoe
thehoe92 replied to thehoe92's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
I have still yet to hear it. I heard the Caddy one day and Steve told me I couldn't do back to back demos because of the difference in sound so I still have to wait on the Tahoe -

so since RF is under rated that means he has 23,000 watts right? I just want to make sure its clear so I actually have proof. -
Me and krannyman92 got this beef on youtube right now about how many watts Steve's Tahoe has got. I say he has got 20k lows and 3k highs. he says 20k lows and 6k highs. which is it? I have never seen on Steve's videos it saying 26,000 watt Tahoe? :01nocomment8so:

you might not have everything wired right. how many subs do you have? and what ohm are you wired to? how is it wired in to the amp?
-
a good tip... the gain is not a volume knob do you have a DMM? digital multi-meter that would be a good place to start
