Final Cut Studio is very efficient when working with the Mac OS. what you are working on is what the RAM focuses on not all the background programs so all processing, memory, and power is dedicated to the editor

it was very easy for me to start learning Final Cut I taught myself how to use it and all the little tricks and ways to make things easier and it is very similar to Sony Vegas... obviously there are the differences between mac and PC in that aspect but almost all pro video editing software has the same basic layout a timeline, a viewer, a canvas, and bins for video and media. I had lots of problems with crashing ESPECIALLY when working with HD on Sony Vegas even though I had the computer to back it up but when I switched over with 2 GB's of ram on my 20" iMac its very quick. The only complaint is the actual rendering of video effects, color filters, special effects, titles but thats just because my graphic card lacks. I doubt you are going to do much in the way of that anyways but the menu's are very easy to figure out and you can render it just about any way imaginable for YouTube, DVD you name it. I've got Final Cut Studio 2 (the full suite), bought it when I got my mac almost $1300 now they have Final Cut Studio 3... there are not too many features that I can use in Final Cut Studio 3 that would be useful so I decided against upgrading so Steve if you want FCS 2 I know someone who you can get it from along with that remote hows that for a review

I wouldn't pay more than $500 if they are used. I don't know how much BTL's take on burps but the APX is rated at 25k on burps and the APXX is rated for 30k on burps but true you have seen what the BTL's can do because of Steve I haven't seen too many videos on Atomic subs besides burps. Email George at Atomic and tell him I sent you. he should be able to work something out with you -Kasey

lol I just say that... maybe talk to Marlo Stanfield he is in the Florida area and from what I know is pretty big in the audio game so maybe he could help you get some people to come out? try to find a central point that everyone can get too and make sure before you go out that there isn't like an old folks home that doesn't like bass. maybe a bbq too like the so cal guys?

kicker is fine lol lots of people run them where are you getting the Atomic's from? through George at Atomic or through someone online? because I've heard some of the older model motors don't perform as well something about the cooling that they changed on the newer versions I'm getting 2 18" Atomic APX for my next setup in my tahoe so I'll have to stay tuned for yours
