    it depends on the box and the build and many other variables. not to be a dick but we don't have a calculator to type in what each person has and what the expected outcome would be.

    lol I'm not accusing you of not knowing. it could be that the remote wire that you are using that is coming from the head unit does not have enough voltage going through it? I'm thinking of everything ATM man.

    orange is illumination and blue is remote turn on. I remember setting my deck up and sound wouldn't come through. bose apparently has amps within there speakers so I had to connect the remote turn on. you might try that just to see even though you said you don't have bose.

    go 2 BL's fully loaded you'll need the extra cooling but those amps will be perfect. I have the t1k and it gets loud. if you gave the same power to 2 BTL's it would just "tickle" them. your one 18 BTL idea sounds good but if you get 2 18" BL's you will have more cone area :hairtrick:

    ed already starting on his business tactics. congrats though bro. 1500 watts as stated above won't even tickle the BTL. 1500 watts on a BL will be loud though. just take a look at my build since I have the same thing. good luck on your build bro

    His overall box comes out to be around 8 cubic feet. I made his port to be 4 inches and the height of the port 15.75 inches because a baffle on top and a baffle on bottom, assuming its 3/4" MDF, takes away 1.25 inches. His port length will then be 10.72 inches to be tuned to 35hz. hope this helps

    I haven't installed any type of deadening except like 5 pieces of duct taped stacked on each other to put on the a-pillar because it was pissing me off so much but it seems for my tahoe it would stop the plastic panels from flexing against the metal and making annoying sounds. it also acts as a weight in some cases so it is harder for bass to flex the metal.

    it shocks me you have a good enough ear to hear just the midbass and not the highs as well my subs don't sound that loud outside but once inside they are killers. just more incentive for people to actually come in your car and have a listen I guess.
