Looking for some plexiglass. 3/4" a 23" to 30" by 8" to 14" piece. If you have anything or know where i can find some please let me know.

Well its been about a month. I ended up with a jl 1000/1. i got a good deal and couldn't pass it. Its hasn't been installed yet but from what i read i wont be disappointed. Also, i went the alpine PXE-H650 instead of the rockford 3sixty. It has alot of built in crossovers as well as time correction. It took a few days but i got it tuned to my ears. I havent started building yet but for my box im looking to have them in my back deck facing up. 3.cuft SEALED! with 1 side having a plexiglass window. I was thinking about porting it but after looking back and remembering my front windshield flex in and out i just couldnt go through that again. The id max really peaks hard around 30 to 40hz where as a sealed its a more smooth response. My question is where can i get a 27"x 12" 3/4 Plexiglas's or should i got with lexan?

So im making some changes to my set up. I've already sold my box and amp the other day and got a rockford 3sixty on the way. Now the hard part. This past week I've been spending my free time looking for an amp. I almost had it down but there's so many different options I could use a second or third opinion. First, the amp is for 2 12" image dynamics idmax dual 4ohms. Im going to be doing a sealed 3 to 4cuft box. Not sure on the measurements but that's what im going for. Second, what im looking for (or think im looking for) My subs are 300 to 1000rms so descent size efficient 1000 to 1500 watts. I don't want a power hungry 3 foot beast. The few amps I've been looking at are the alpine pdx1.1000 power bass asa1500 jl 1000/1v2. These 3 I can get for a good price with warranty since my brother works for a shop that his friend owns. They also sell tma, re audio orion kicker rockford eclipse. My brother has me sold on the pdx because of its size and power but looking for some more opinions. I should also mention that im looking to spend $500.

Loud music, it wasnt me though. There was a truck on the right side of me making a right had turn. The officer must of made a mistake being so far on the other street. (it was at a three way intersection) I can deal with speeding tickets they actually use a device to catch you. But this ticket is not right or fair. Some people dont even make $500 in a week and your going to take my car and money cause you think your at a distance of 75ft or greater. I got this case beat i hope he shows up next month. That pussy even scratched my trunk when taking off a emblem from my car. Had no right!

I had court today for getting my car impounded. I thought i was off the hook when the pig didnt show but they ended up continuing it since hes on vacation. What a waste of my time. Wasted a half day of work and driving back and forth in traffic. I did get to hear someones case on the same thing. Even though i felt i was already prepared i got another month to prepare and solidify my case. I would suggest anyone that does get there car impounded to 1. File for a hearing, you might get lucky and the cop not show and 2. PREPARE, Any type of evidence, fact, that my apply to your case. The burden of proof is on the cop. Deny anything and everything. Do not admit to even having a system. Say you had your windows up with the ac on. There where other cars around. Question his reasoning for determining 75ft (for chicago) What type of device he used to measure. In chicago they use the same sorry way to determine 75ft which is by the street light. Approximately 75ft is what they almost all ways say. Ask them for the exact measurement or if it more or less and make them look silly and ask if they ever measured it themselves. There whole case is based on the distance. Make his reasoning of distance not look creditable and you will not be found liable. I always found out even if you beat the case expect to wait 4 to 6 MONTHS for your money.

Not lookin to spend no where near $900. I know you have to pay to play but im looking for something good at a far price. I just couldn't believe that's how much its going for. Anyways im stil looking for a new amp and it doesn't have to brand new. I was thinking about an older mmats amp like a d300hc or maybe a mean machine?

In my search for a new amp i thought hey why not go with a image dynamics q1200.1, they got great subs amps should be good too. Found a price online that was around $950!! WTF. if gas is leaking it doesnt take a genius to look under the car and follow the gas lines and look for gas. Or to look under the hood and smell gas....

Yea I know. Under the board is what I ment. But is the amp just warm to the touch or does it burn?

yea i understand.. im running the rockford at 1ohm rite now.. it sounds good but when i push it harder its starts to sound like ass.. Thanks for your input

dont understand this. What does the % represent? Power Testing RMS power/ (1ohm) RMS power/ (2ohm) RMS power/(4ohm)RMS power 5% 1920W 1220W 550W 3% 1700W 1060W 480W 2% 1570W 920 W 395W 1% 1450W 850 W 380W its a 1000watts rms but can put up to 1900max?
