1. Yup I've been ripped off amd screwed several times on other sites for sales so I know how it all can go.
2. I know what you mean. That's why everything is in my possession. Plus I made him sign an agreement that I'm going to sell it and give him the profit. If you ask the guys I buy from I get proof of everything and ask a ton of questions before I buy anything.
3. We also have his 10" Alpine type-s subwoofer and bandpass box up for sale. The woofer takes 200 watts of rms power, is rated at 4 ohms, and i swear this woofer and box beats the hell out of my solox when i had it working in my own vehicle. Even with the volume turned way down at the amp and headunit it still slammed so hard it would give you a headache. The coolest feature about this is that it has a neon light tube built right into it. I forgot the color of it but i can ask my friend and he will remember it. but you can adjust it to strobe or do like we did and hook it up to your speakers and have the lights flicker with your music. It includes an additional neon light that is external to the box that was used to illuminate the amp in his trunk. I believe that neon was colored green but im not 100% sure, like i said before ill have to ask him to find out. The sub was never abused or anything. my friend does what i dont and listens to his music at a low level. lol. Heres the link for the specs of the box and speaker: http://www.crutchfie...tures_and_specs Since this includes the sub, box, neons and the wiring needed for it, i will sell it for $300 or b/o and depending on the shipping cost i will throw in the shipping at no extra charge. And lastly we have a pair of his Polk Audio DB690 6x9" speakers. They can take 100 watts rms at 4 ohms and are a 3-way speaker. They come with the prefabricated 6x9" speaker boxes which are sealed and have push-pin terminals on them. These speakers can get so loud that i turned his radio up once and only had these on and you could hear his music for a block. Heres the link for the speakers entire specs: http://www.polkaudio...io/specs/db690/ I will sell these for $90 shipped anywhere in the U.S.
4. Alright, so my friend needs your help in buying all his radio equipment that he had in his car. I helped install it all and it was never abused, blown, overpowered, distored, anything like that. we used top notch connections for everything on his install. Anyways heres what he has.... A pair of JBL GTO 920 6x9" speakers. These speakers are rated at a 4 ohm load and accepts 175 watts max (not sure the rms, i cant find anything online about them, just the specs on the back of the speaker) They sure slammed really well in his car, we had it powered by the amp you will see in the post and with the subwoofer off, it slammed pretty hard and sounded crystal clear. Id sell these speakers for $80 shipped. We also have a Alpine MRV-F450 amplifier for sale. This amp is a 5 channel amplifier with a dedicated subwoofer, front, and rear inputs and outputs. It has a ton of great eq settings you can do to it and it even has a custom paint job to match the paint job he had on his car. The amp is a work horse in my opinion and it has the best sound quality i have ever heard from a amp this size. It has the power to put out 50 watts rms on 4 channels, and 200 watts rms to the subwoofer output when at a 4 ohm load. If you put the amp to a 2 ohm load it will put out 60 watts rms to the 4 channels. Plus for .08% distortion on a 4 ohm load thats pretty impressive if you ask me. This is a class AB amplifier as well. Here is the link for those who want the entire specs of it. http://www.crutchfie...tures_and_specs Since this amp is totally custom, id sell it for $450 shipped. And up next we have his Pioneer DEH-P3900MP headunit. This headunit puts out 50 watts rms on all 4 channels at a 4 ohm load, the pre-amps have a 2.2v rms rating, its a 5 channel radio, am/fm/cd/mp3 and even includes the remote with a brand new battery, the wire harness with a 18 foot remote turn wire already attached. Here is the link for all the specs and reviews that are out for the radio: http://www.crutchfie...tures_and_specs Id like to see this go for $90 shipped.
5. hey everyone, Im on the lookout for a Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.2 sound processor. NOT THE 3SIXTY.1 OR 3SIXTY.3!!!! i have no need for either one of those. id like to have it with the bass boost/volume knob but if it doesnt have one that will be alright for me. and the dvd would be nice to have if you have it too. i found some online for like 250 new but i wanted to see if someone on here had one used that they wanna get rid of to possibly upgrade to the new 3xisty.3 thats coming out. Hit me up with a reply or pm if you got one you want to sell.
6. ok, i thought so since its the same voltage batt and all that but i read on here from a few ppl that it makes a difference. but thanks again Matt. ill see if i can fix the voltage problem i have now with the back batt and once i get that straightened out ill get that voltage boost module from you. That will still be accessable for me even though i have a l6 and the alt is pretty buried inside the engine right?
7. alright ill get some more 0 gauge and do a dedicated ground. what about how my battery in the front is smaller than the one in the rear, could that have any say in the voltage difference?? just trying to think about it.
8. Hey Matt, Just thought id say first of all that i love the 270 amp alt you built me for my 04 envoy, its a champ and doesnt even get warm when i have all my cars electronics on and my music at full tilt so great job!! The one thing i was wondering is if i could get my hands on that voltage boost module we were talking about a long time ago with my car i had. You mentioned just throwing it in but i would prefer to pay you for it. How much is that unit going to be for it? (BTW, my engine is the l6 model) And i was wondering, why does my engine speed decrease a little bit when i have my system cranked? I noticed that my rpm will drop about 300 rpm's when i have a heavy bass note hit but the voltage doesnt move at all. I also looked under the hood and when the engine is at idle and i crank my system the alt doesnt make any noises at all but the pully moves about 1/4 of a inch, almost as if its being pushed. is this just from the amp taking on that extra burst of a load i placed on it? And lastly, my voltage up front is 14.9v but at the back on my d3100 its 12.6. what would cause a big loss in voltage like that? again, i do have the big-3 with all 0 gauge, clean metal surfaces for it all and everything. i do have 2 fuses on my 0 gauge wire that runs from the positive terminal in the front to the positive terminal to the rear batt but that shouldnt affect it right? and yes i did follow your every direction with NOT putting a fuse between the alt and the battery, those wires are un-fused completely.
9. first of all i take it that this drive is SATA. If so, you do not need to use the jumpers since there is no master/slave options, they are all cable select, or in other words set in the BIOS.
10. hey i didnt forget about you ive just been too damn busy with school and work (life sure is fun, lol) the second i get the chance to do it i will throw the pics up for you.
11. and if ppl would READ with a thing they have called eyes i said in every one of them that it was also best offer. that means make an offer. i told ya what id let the speakers go for. and the hole is so damn small, its like the size of a screw driver you would use to fix glasses with so something like that in my opinion wouldnt drag the price down to being free or anything.
12. hey dont be a dick about it. i told ya what id let them go for. if you dont want them then go buy them elsewhere. i could give a shit less. i make more than enough money to worry about surviving off of these selling trust me.
13. come on, after all the views there has to be someone who wants to buy something on here.
14. im really thinking to say f-it and get them sold for $50. i was gonna use them for a center channel on my home theater system but im too lazy to build a nice enclosure for them and i dont want to get a cheap ass prefab box for them either. whats your zip dude and ill see how much the shipping is to your area. I prefer to use ups. fedex sucks after all the lost packages i have had and they NEVER have signatures for packages so f-that. hit me up with ur zip bro.
15. I have 2 kicker ks 5.25 speakers if you want em. They have the midrange and tweeters as well as the crossovers and the mounting hardware for them all. Ill sell them to ya for $50 shipped (if you live in the northeast coast, otherwise ill add half the shipping cost that ups wants to ship these bad boys out) Let me know if you are interested and i can upload pics of these for you tonight if you want.
16. yea they were free because first of all they are refurbs if you go to the store and pay attention to the package they give you. second im adding a sd card and the case which is another $30. Im not letting this go for free thats for damn sure.
17. ok. the kicker 6x9's i will sell for 100 shipped. And just to let all the smd members know, if you find any of my stuff im selling online for a better price pm me or reply to this post with the link of the site and if its legit ill match the price for you. And this is also listed as best offer (no low balls though) Thanks!!
18. Ok, up for sale is my HTC ozone i had and used for a month. This phone has it all, it has a vibrant screen, full keyboard, cdma and gsm network compatibility, 2 pegapixel camera, ambient light sensor, a 528 MHz processor, 192 Mb of RAM, exceptional battery life, and also comes with a clear hard cover case to help further protect this beauty. This comes with the phone, battery, verizon wireless sim card (its only used to store contacts when you are on the verizon wireless network, but swap it out with a card from sprint, nextel, at&t and a good handful of others around the entire globe and you will have a gsm compatible phone), a usb charging and synchronizing cable, original box, manual, and setup and install dvd's with drivers and how to guides, usb charging adapter with universal connectors that allow you to use this phones charger in every spot of the world, and a module that will convert the standard usb port on the phone to a headphone/headset/charging/sync cable. I have the rom on this phone updated to windows mobile standard version 6.5. This phone has 87 mb of internal storage but for another $5 i will toss in my 2gb micro sd card i have with the sd to micro-sd adapters. It has internal bluetooth, wifi, cdma and gsm network connectivity, usb, speaker phone, 2 megapixel camera, and all the speed and features you could ever want. I used this phone for where i worked and it never failed me once. This phone is NOT a refurb or water damaged phone (i tried to take a pic of the water detector strip on the phone but my camera couldnt focus on it that well) and there isnt a single scratch on this phone, the case however has some surface scratches on the back of it but thats what cases are for to take the brunt of the force from us using them. I will sell the phone for $8 0 or best offer and if you buy it with my asking price i will just toss in the 2gb micro sd card for you at no extra charge. NOTE: the price does not include shipping but it shouldnt be much since its so small and lightweight for the box. Any questions or offers feel free to either reply to this post or pm me. if i dont get back right away im probably at work or school but i will get to you that same day.

Thanks for looking!!
19. Ok, up for sale is some equipment i had in my old 1998 oldsmobile 88 car i owned a few months ago that i sold. First up are my kicker 6x9 speakers i had. These are the 3 way model with 100 watts rms power and are rated for 300 watts max. I have never had these run with more than 15 watts rms (yea i know i really under powered them but before i thought of selling my car i was going to use these on a nice 4 channel amp) but i know for a fact that these coils are not blown, overheated or anything bad. The woofer on these sounds very good for as little power that i fed them. in fact i used them as my main woofer for my music when i had taken out my woofer in my car before i sold it and it slammed pretty well for as little power i gave it. the tweets on these are also very high and clear so you will hear everything, and i mean EVERYTHING with these speakers. they come with the original box, speaker grills, and manual (if i can find where i put the manual off to, otherwise i will provide a link to download one from kicker directly for you). The only problem with these is that one of them has a very tiny hole in the corner of the surround (look at the second pic) it happened when i installed them and my zip tie i was using to tie back my wires in the trunk hit it and put a small hole in it. you are lucky if this is like a 1/16 of a inch in size and believe me when i say that it does not affect it whatsoever. I want to sell these for $100 without shipping. Next on the list is some 8 gauge power, and ground wire which comes with 18 gauge remote turn on wire and a 35 amp agu fuse. The brand of the positive power wire is Audiopipe and the brand of the ground wire is Blue Wave Audio and the brand of the fuse holder is Mobile Spec. I have no clue what the wire strand count is (and yes im too lazy to count it for 8 gauge) but it powered my 300 watt rms amp like a champ. It comes with 25 feet of remote turn on wire, a 3 foot piece of ground (one end has the ring terminal on it), and a 19 foot length of positive wire, a 1 foot piece of power wire (used to connect from your battery to the fuse holder) and a 35 amp agu fuse. I am looking to sell this for $20 (shipping not included) but would be open to offers. And lastly im selling my wiring harness i used for my radio. The wires are in mint condition, no cracks, breaks, bent pins or anything like that. Its a Metra cf-whgm3 wiring harness and is intended for use on gm vehicles where they have 32 pins on the stock connector. I will sell this for $5.00 plus shipping (if i could get away with it id just send it in the mail but i dont think it will fit in a envelope or anything.
20. yea, formatting is always the easier option. trust me, im a computer tech and damn near all the computers i work on get reimaged since its faster and easier to do than find what went bad and where.
21. what id say is that you either have malware or a virus. id highly recommend downloading a free trial of system mechanic at http://www.iolo.com/system-mechanic/standard/download.aspx. i use that on my computer quite often and it works like a dream. If it does find a virus, id let it remove it and then do a system restore back to a few days prior to when you had the problems. For your popup problems check your proxy settings within firefox to see if any of them are enabled. to do this, go to "tools", "options", then click on the "advanced" tab at the top, then click on the sub-tab that says "network", and then click on the button labeled "settings". Make sure the option selected says "no proxy" then click "ok" and close out of firefox and reload it and see if it happens. For your windows error about the generic host process, id say that it usually means that a file within the windows registry is corrupt. either try to do a windows update to see if any patches are available and see if they install and make it disappear. For your sound issue, try to uninstall the sound cards driver and download and install one from the sound card manufacturers or computer manufacturer website. Id go about doing this first. download that system mechanic and see if anything gets found delete it all and then do a system restore to a few days prior to when you started getting this error. Also id recommend using trend micro internet security pro. i use that on all my computers and not a single virus gets through it (and ive tried many ways to get something in and nothing gets past it). Or if you are comfortable, go into msconfig and look for foreign items in the startup area or under services. sometimes the stupid viruses and malware are in there and will tell you exactally where they are in the registry and when you find that out, you can go to regedit and delete them within a second. Let me know if you need more help, im a computer tech and id help ya out.
22. You're welcome man. That was a great sale. I'm more than glad to have bought that killer amp from you. In another year or 2 it will power my smd 18 I want to get.yeee
23. Alright, im back and this time im in action. I had a 250 amp alt from mechman for my old car and for some odd reason it quit on me and would only work at low rpm's. I shipped it back to mechman and had them inspect it to see what went wrong and where. After they said they replaced everything except the casing and it still didnt work right i told them to hold off while i shopped around for another vehicle and they did just that. I found myself my truck i have now and had Matt make me an alt for my truck. Lucky for me he had one that was already built sitting on the shelf and i paid him for the upgraded alternator price and had him ship it off to me. I installed it 4 days ago and this time i have not had a SINGLE problem like my old unit had (which apparently was shipped badly from fedex because as we all know they can be very rough on their stuff) I put it in and ran all the 0 gauge wire for the power and grounds and it works like a dream. It keeps my voltage at 14.6 warm and 15.3 cold. The only problem i have with this (but Matt i dont expect you to do anything about it since my engine idles at 650 rpm which is very low for good output) but at idle when my radio is at full tilt the voltage drops 2 volts but only for a few seconds and then comes back up. Other than that, my alt doesnt get hot, only warm to the touch, its silent, and it works like its supposed to. I am so glad that i purchased my alternator from Mechman. His customer service skills cannot be beat, the prices are very fair, and his knowledge is so vast that there cant be any questions he cant answer. Anyways, Im very happy with everything i have from mechman. And i do plan to keep buying from Mechman in the future for all my alternator needs. Keep up the great work Matt!!
24. thanks. i try my best to inform other possible buyers about the people i buy from on SMD so they know that they are a good trustworthy seller.
