okay so i got it running my 5.25 front and rear, everytime i turn up the bass on the bass control it switches off and when bass goes out or bass not turned up it works perfectly fine. i thought i wasnt having enough power but since i added the batcap 2000 it still does the same, im pretty sure my mids can handle it cause if the bass is low i can blast the mids loud. and i have a y splitter from a set of rca. meaning im running one set only could this be the problem? help me out guys! thanx (shutting on and off) not the power the sound

okay update: Goerge is willing to exchange spiders/coil's plus $30 for a reshipping fee back to me. Damn make note for everyone make sure you know what size motors you have b4 you buy, i didnt want to buy another kit but @least im not paying another 130 for the right kit. i'll be sendning back the kit tomorrow so this better be the last wait, or else the ELE motor and basket is going bye bye..

i'm ticked off now. I accidently ordered the wrong size VC and now George @ Atomics saying no exhange? if they were more soecific about the subs and upgraded coils i wouldnt have this problem. No wonder no ones bumps Atomic subs. POS, and i thought they were decent. bad service. any more info i'll post up.

So i got my kit Saturday. didnt get to pair it up, and when i did sunday morning the Vc was too big! i emailed George and he replied saying i had the older version, lates 90's he says. So the 3" VC's going back and resending out the 2.5 upgraded flate wound. Looks beaty as hell. will have to wait another week... ugh..

got a call from Atomic today, package shipped. will be here b4 this weekend.

i remember hearing about bumper or was it just thumper.. they were sold thru flea markets/swap meets i remeber seeing them @ denio's out in roseville back in the day, when i started....heard they knocked for what it was back then..

yeah i contacted atomic thru atomicspeakers.com and George of Atomic responded directly to me, takes atleast 1 business day or 2 @ the most for him to reply back. I paid on friday and haven't had a response yet, but im pretty sure by monday he'll respond. This is the first time i've owned something Atomic and don't see too many people running them, i've seen a couple apx and apxx models but no ELE version's. i'll update once i receive a reply or my recone kit.
