Knukonceptz FTW. power acoustik isnt that impressive of a company to me. also, its only a few bucks more to get the 1/0awg kit.... incase you choose to upgrade in the future, you'll have the wires ready to go. -

im dumb, i didnt see that you posted a link to your amp.. a 100amp fuse would be fine for what you are doing. getting new RCA's wont matter too much, just as long as you have a pair connecting your head unit to your amp. -
i dont blame him, they look much nicer and can handle a bit more power without the slap! post some vids asap! :

are those level 5 leads i see?? my level 4 doesnt have woven ones.. either way, you made a VERY good choice. i've been blown away with the output of my single lvl4 15" even on low ammounts of power.

the KNU CCA wire is not a bad choice for under 1500 or so rms, so it would be a good choice in your range. fuse will depend. im running a similar setup currently and i use a 150amp inline fuse. i would reccomend one in the same area. Fuse size is going to be dependant on how much power you are drawing in. the power you are drawing in depends on your amplifier's spec's. can you give us some more info? -
Signs Of A Alternator Giving Out ?
J00bles replied to Joker's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
possibly. i've been having a similar issue with my car (a honda civic) it will read fine, but sometimes my voltemeters will show that the voltage has dropped from 14.2 down to 12.2 with all of my accessories off except for my system playing at a low voltume. this problem doesnt occur at idle, its always while driving my car at speed. i have thought that maybe my alternator was going out, but have not found out if its the case or not. -

check your fusing. i had that same problem with mine tonight. all of my wires and ground are working perfectly, so i checked my fuse. it hadnt blown yet, but it had begun warping from the power it was getting and it was sending my amp into protect. im only running 300rms right now at a 4ohm load.

Any Get A Lvl 5 18 Metered
J00bles replied to Dtprez08's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
the enclosure and car are obviously going to help determine the sound level, but for the most part IT DOES work like that.im curious too. im still wondering how my level 4 15" is going to sound with a good amp.. -
i agree. the Dekas are becoming more and more popular. i hadn't heard of them until a few months ago, but they seem to do just as well as the more "well known" brands. if the price is right, go for it! i cant imagine you'll be dissappointed

they should hurry and make these. my lvl 4 15" needs an amp

I bought a Kicker fuse holder and 150amp fuse from him. he shipped very fast and had no problems staying in contact with me through this whole process. very happy over all!
