    why r u switching? if your current amps are doing 2700 now why step down to 2200? i say step up and get a little more power just make sure you feed them the voltage they need. think i read this wrong..... you are gonna run an amp per sub now? then 2200 per sub should be fine!

    i hate to do this but the last i heard the re re's were a wast of time and money. i dont know that to be true or not but just a bit of a heads up. its best to do some research if you have not had first hand experience with them. just my 2 cents.

    i did basicly the same thing using my preamp eq. used the volume control for the subs so i can adjust on the fly for cops, family in car, or whatever. and just like stated above finding the clipping point is very important so you can ensure clean power for better equipment life.
